Hallo this is my first time posting something on this great website.I've been reading all of your great stories for the last two years and got a lot of information that i used on my bikes.Me and my oldest son both got banshees.Both of them were the last built banshees,the yellow limited edition and the red falcon as it was called in south africa.My banshee is still stock except for long range tank,+2 steering stem,aftermarket handlebars and pro design airfilter.My sons banshee got fmf pipes,boost bottel,long range tank,+2 steering stem,v-force reed valves,+2 lonestar a-arms,pro design airfilter and some other stuff.
Couple of rasons for me eventually got the nerves to write all of this.
Firstly two strokes absolutely rocks.When i first got to ride quads about three years ago my first quad i bought for the family was a blaster and then i got a raptor 660.After riding the raptor for about three months i walked into a local yamaha dealer and i saw this awesome quad on the floor called banshee.I went back home and did some reading up on the banshee and the stuff i read about the banshee was just out of this world,so i went back and bought the yellow banshee for my son and brouht it home.I took the banshee for a spin on the farm and fell in love with it immediatly.The next week i trade my raptor in for a banshee as well and never ever been sorry i did it.I absolutely love my banshee and will never ride a four stroke again.
My youngest son is riding a yz125 and i would like to ask one of you two stroke magicians out there a question regarding the yz please.I was riding my stock banshee for about a year and after i've put in my pro-design airfilter i drilled some holes in my air box and what a difference that made was awesome,now my question is can i drill some holes in the airbox of the yz as well.One can find a lot of information on this site about the banshee but i struggle to get some info on the yz.
