I've decided to get a banshee frame, start from there, and build it up exactly how I want it.

When I said $3000 dollar budget I meant on just the quad not counting aftermarket parts and stuff.I should have been more specific. Whats the stearing stabilizer good for? :cool:

Thanks for all the input its greatly appreciated I'm 16 just old enough to race a bigger quad I'm in very good shape so I'm not to much worried about tiring out on the banshee I need a race quad and have a $3000 budget when its all said and done.But like I said before I'm gonna definetly do more research on the banshee and yfz which is the two quads I've narrowed my selection down to. Any more opinions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks, Sam

yea I saw the pictures of DDQ's banshee in the for sale section and if I had the money right now I'd totally buy it but I'm in the process of selling my blaster that was going to be my mx quad but it was just a waste of money. I really want a mx shee but don't want to put 4,000 in it after I buy the shee. So I might do more research on the shee and how good the 450 arms hold up. BTW don't you have to cut them to get them to fit the shee?

what about the 450 arms and shocks will they hold up in mx?

Yeah I did my math on it last night and to get a shee mx ready it will cost more than a yfz so unless I find a mx ready banshee the yfz will be the way to go.

I thought about the 450r but I'm not to big of a honda fan unless I find a good deal on an r I'm probably not going to get one. If I do get a shee I'll add aftermarket suspension I just want to know how the shee feels when jumping and will it be enough to keep up with the new 450's.

what ive got for sale is a 2003 yamaha blaster . mods include the following :tusk front bumper,works quadstar rear shock with rezzy, maxxis razr mx rear tires, vitos oil injector block off, vitos tors elimination kit, parking break block off, renthal grips, msr clutch perch and lever, fly handle bars blue, k&n filter and outerwear, also i put a new renthal 13 tooth front sprocket,new cascade chain rollers, and new primary drive chain, this machine could use some rear fenders. also i purchased a fmf jet kit im willing to let go with it . my location is in covington county MS.the front fenders were painted with krylon fusion paints . $1000 firm! pictures

Which quad should i get for mx? stock yfz450, modded z400, modded banshee, 250r, ive been tryin to decide. im leaning towards the z but id like your opinion..

up for sell is an 03 yamaha blaster it runs good and starts up in 1 to 3 kicks. the only thing wrong with the quad is it needs a new chain, and could use a set of rear fenders the ones on it were cut due to cracks in them and the front plastics have been painted white using Krylon fusion paints. mods ive done to the quad are: vitos oil injection block off, vitos tors elimination kit, fly handle bars, msr clutch lever and perch, parking break block off, renthal grips. renthal front sprocket. maxxis razr mx rear tires, and k&n filter with outerwears. also i have an fmf jet kit ill let go with the quad..asking $1600 located in seminary, MS

if i had my blaster sold id buy it if you still have it in about 3 more weeks im might see what i can do.. i live in ms.
