I am looking for a good rear shock for my 1998 banshee. I haven't check on rebuild prices. Any for sale or any suggestion would be great.

No good brand new number 8's and it still wont idol and backfires out of right side nothing changed. Do you commonly use any sealant on the rubber boots? The idol is very unconsistant, If i holdthe thrrottle just enough to keep it running it almost dies and revs right back up again.If i do throttle the bike it is responsive but as soon as i am off the throttle no idol. I am convinced it is a leak but I cant find it. I tried something else while it was running I put my hand just over the left carb and could feel the suctiion where I could feel only very little out of the right carb.? Let me know what ya think and well keep at it.

You guys are the shit! I have done a comp test and leak down. I ll try a new set of plugs and get back at ya.

You have called it very low pressure out of the right side and it will actually backfire at very low rpm. I must have tore this carb apart 25 time this week and it is almost polished. This bike will run likea bat out hell at half and full throttle. ?????????????????????????? :: :: :: ::

Hey, New to this site and I am very impressed with the BANSHEE support I see on here. Anyways My first banshee and i am diggin it! I have a blaster also but it is not near as tempermental as this beast. I just bought it used 1997 and was running fine before purshase now it backfires out of right side only at idle or just a little more. I have pulled both carbs cleaned and checked float levels, checked intake boots also reeds. This bike came from Montana and I am up near the Seattle area(elevation????) . I dont know I have been at this for a week straight and cant fix it. Help me!!
