I soldered mine. So I am hoping it should be fine. That way I dont have to worry about them coming off when I am riding. Thanks though.

Here is the bike without the graphics on the rear fenders, with black gas tank. Then one when the graphics where still on it and had the blue tank on it.

So here is the new switches I put in the bike today. Since I have the lazer lights, I only needed the low beam wires so it made real easy. The switch on the right is the on/off switch for the lights. The one on the left is the on/off for the bike. Let me know what you think.

I just got some white plastics and the factory graphics are chipped and pealing. Does anyone have any good pics of white plastic banshee's? I am just trying to get a idea of what to do.

Yeah I havent got that far on the bike yet. I cant decide what pipes to get. My neighbor which is a old Banshee mechanic keeps telling me to get FMF's.He says they make good power and are not way loud. Everyone on here says T5. So I can decide. I am in AZ sorry. Ok cool will be welding the brace on tonight. Thanks alot guys.

Guys I have a question. When I bought my bike the guy had broke off the left side rear fender support. So I have just got a new set of plastics that have the complete rear fenders. Since mine where cut and stress marked real bad. So I got the new fenders on and cut to the way that I wanted them. I am real picky about both sides matching. So I made a 90 degree peice to match the right side. So now I need to weld it on there. Is there anything that I need to be careful of? I know your normal stuff, but I am worried about the electrical of the bike? Do I need to disconnect anything from the bike to weld on it? Here is the pics of what I am talking about. and a pic of why I changed them.

I am heading up to the sinders(SP) up by Flagstaff. I have heard it is around 8000 feet. I have a pretty stock 03 banshee and 03 blaster. I have heard that I have to rejet them. How hard is that to do? I have never done it at all. I also have a 01 Polaris 90 that I will most likely have to rejet also. Please if anyone can give me some good pointers that would be much appreciated.

no Im thinking I have the upper right on the left and the left on the right. That way being backwards not upside down. My bad on explaining it right. They just look funny for some reason.

Does this look right? I bought the set used and didnt have any instructions at all with it, so I had to go off of just looking at it. I lined up the ball joints, but it does not look right to me. Please let me know. I think I have the uppers on backwards.

So a buddy of mine gave me a billet side case. I was putting it on yesterday and noticed that there is no gasket on the outside edge of it like on the factory plastic peice. Should I take the one off the plastic peice and use it or does the billet makes its own seal? Here is the part that I am asking about? The small center cap has the tiny rubber seal in it though.

Does anyone know where I could get a custom flag made or what it takes to make one? I own a company and would like to have my company name on it.

I used a razor knife on mine. Takes a couple times of going over it but it makes a awesome smooth line. Then I take a propane torch and wave it by the plastics to get the color back into the very edges of it. has worked out great for me. Plus there isnt any plastic all over the garage from using a grinder or a body saw.

Ok thank you on all the help. I figured it out. I pulled the reeds and all that looked good. So I kept looking and looking. Well it ended up being that the override switch on the clutch lever. The parking brake thing. It would not disengage. Popped the assembly out and pushed in the switch and worked fine. Took the switch and wiring out and it is great again. Thanks for all the help on what to look for guys.

no no no Im not mixing gas and doing oil injection. I was asking about it that time cause a buddy had said it was a good idea. I didnt think so. So that is why I asked on here. The plug looks fine. I changed it out there and no difference at all. My friend had mentioned the reeds. But had no way of pulling them off out in the desert he said. How do I check that?

Ok Guys you helped me before on this bike but now have a bad issue. Like I said before I bought a 03 blaster. Ran ok, revving all over the place though. Got it to settle down alittle by adjusting the idle on the TORS. Well we headed out camping this weekend. Started the bike let it warm up for a few and rode fine. Wife took it for a spin for about 5 minutes and came back and parked it. I went to start it about 4 hours later and fires right up. But if you give it gas it falls on its face. Will not rev up at all. Pulled the filter and it was oild pretty bad. So I cleaned it. Still no change. Took the carb off and my buddy looks at it and says everything there seems good. Put it all back together and same issue. We tryed by passing the electrical side of the TORS. Pulled the tank off and made sure nothing was shorting out. well after about 3 hours of messing with it, we gave up. I started it up this morning and same issue. What could have gone bad that fast? Do you think the TORS went bad? I can't think of what else it could be. Im lost. I feel bad, I bought this bike for her and she didnt even get to ride it this whole weekend that we where out.

ok I will do that. I checked F.A.S.T and do not see a block off kit. Does anyone know where I can buy one. I found one on Ebay, but there was only one on there and not a big fan of buying kits like that off ebay.

One other thing I noticed last night. I rode it down the street and back and when I got home it was revving high. I gave it alittle gas to see if it would slow down and it just kept getting higher and higher. What would cause that? My neighbor came over and turned the idle down some. Does that sound about right? It starts right up and runs pretty good. I just want to make sure that I dont screw something up on it.

I know this isnt banshee related, but I see that alot of you guys here know alot about the blasters as well. I just picked up a 03 blaster last night. A friend was telling me to mix the gas just like I do my banshee. He said alot of times the little oil pumps in the oil container goes out and by the time you know it, it is to late. He said to go ahead and leave the oil thing in there for now to, having more oil in there will not hurt anything. Does this sound right? I dont want to do any damage to it. I think it already needs a new piston. But I got a good deal on it. Once again guys thank you. I learn more and more reading this forum everyday. Here is some pics of it. If I can get them to work here.

Thank you guys on the help here. My neighbor and I swapped it out yesterday. He is very good with these bikes so he explained alot to me as we where doing it. Gave me a good walk through on it and why we did what. It is so much nicer having a thumb throttle over the twist though. Once again thanks for the suggestions.

awesome.. that is what I needed to know. Now when I put this on or have it put it on do I need to resync the carbs again? I have heard yes and no. That is exactly what I needed to know though. Once again thank you.

guys first off this is my first post. You guys have a cool group here. Here is my problem, I bought a 03 banshee with a twist throttle. I am wanting to switch it back to a thumb throttle. Does anyone know exactly what cable I need. I have the factory thumb piece, but I have had people just say I need a certain cable to make it work now. Since there is already new tops on it. Any help would be great. Since I sent myself out in the desert about 50 yards yesterday. Didnt crash but I was holding on for dear life.. LOL
