  1. so i was going to get my polit jetts from the yamaha dealer but they wanted 13 buck a for one FU<K THAT :shoothead: :: i was woundering if you guys know of any were to get them cheaper. they or for stock carbs. thanks
  2. i got the pilot out and it is a 25, so do you guys think a 27.5 should do it also the sir screw was about 2 to 2 1/2 turns out

  4. were is it in the carb these carb are just a little different then the holly i had on my 68 chevy.
  5. i just got done looking at my carbs i had a tpyo in there it is a 220 and the old one was 230 sorry guys. the neddle clip is at the 3rd spot os the neddle and on the neddle it said 5n7 but i dont know what that means. any info would be hepl full and sorry about the wrong jet sizes. i could see how to get the poilt out so i dont kow what size that is.
  6. this is my first banshee ( shit my first wheeler for that matter) the guy i bought it from use to race it back were i used to live and it ran fine there and when i moved the yamaha dealer was the one that told me to go smaller. but i am kinda thinking of taking it to a 2 stroke shop to have them set the jetting
  7. it ran fine before i moved across the state i whent from 16oo feet to 3200 when i was at 1600 i hade a 330 main jet in and it ran great started on the first kick and ideled fine and had good power though out the whole rpm range. so i dont know were to start at.
  8. hey guys i am getting ready to put my motor back together and would like some ideas on were to start for jetting. i brunt the motor up from running to lean. right now i have a 320 main but dont know what the poilt and needle are. i have bord it .030 over have dmc pipes, stock heads, twin air filter. i am about 3500ft and will ride in 50-90 F for temps what do you guys think.
  9. hey guys i have been busy working on the shee so i havent posted for a while. just to let you know i got it all tore apart sanded promed and painted and now just waiting for the motor work to get done to put her all back togeter. i painted the frame red ( dont have the cash flow to pc right now) and most of the plastics are red also ex. the rad. cover and tank cover those black with red in the back ground like how theshee did his green and black. i also painted my dmc pipes with black high temp paint. she looks pretty good and when i can get the pics on here i would like to hear what you guys think
  10. what kind of primer did you use, is there a fusion primer. any thing you could tell me would help i plan on starting tomorrow.
  11. i want to paint my banshee plastics but dont want to use to paint them with. my brother went to wyo teck and he told me that auto paint will just pop off if it gets streesed and i have been know to roll and tip the shee :: also how hard is it to pull the motor all the way out and unbolt a vortex swing arm so i can do the frame? i would like so ideas for a colors i have all white stock plastics but have cut the front fenders, and all thor static grear and kcb white zombe helmet. so i am think black with red grafix and a red rame what do you guys think of that.

  13. i was woundering if you had the steering stem and if you do and want to sell it how much that is if it is not bent
  14. can any of your guys give me any idea what size jet i would need at 3200Ft. the 230 jet is what the guy who own the shee befor me had in it and he raced it so i thought that would be right??
  15. i have wiseco piston but they are the stock size, i have reeds but cant remember what kind, dmc exhaust, twin air filter. and that is it for motor mods. i took the top end apart today and the right piston has a small gouge on the side and bunch of dents and crap on the top of the dome. also the cylinder is a little scratched. so i think i found my problem. are any of you guys from the rapid city area to tell me were i can get my banshee machined so i can get the scratches out.
  16. hey guys, i am new to your site, but got a ? for all of your banshee riders. i have a 02 banshee, and just move acrossed my state and whent up 1500 ft in evl. i whent from a 230 main jet to a 220 as the yamaha dealer told me to. it ran great for the first part of my ride then after lunch it soulded like it was flooding and just ran like complet sh!t. i got the shee home and pulled the plugs thinking i foulded them and just for the fun of it i kicked it over a few time and found out the one clyider had good compresion but the other had almost nothing. i have maybe 100 hours on it and not very many are really hard riding but what do you guys think could be the problem????
