K...after reading all the post........Im stuck between 22cc domes and 21cc....my bike has FMF pipes....+4 timing.....k&N...I plain on running 91 octane.....but...I will be buying a Coolhead in the next week or two.........so.....what would I buy?...22 or the 21 domes.....I'd like to have the same cc's as taking .010 off the stock head...and I am at sea level......any help would be COOL! :biggrin:

Well ya convinced me to try it..........so Im gonna change it this weekend..........so it should be fine aslong as I change it often...like every 5 to 10 tanks of gas!

Thanks for the info.........I have a couple of jugs of 10w40 yamalube....I'll stick with that until summer!

I heard of 80w-90 gear oil or 75w-140 synthetic made by Quakerstate ......is that what ya mean?

Yup....Im talking about tranny oil........but I think here in Canada 80w would'nt work well... just because its like anywhere from -5 to -40 like today.........I always thought 10w40 was fine but I would like the best brand to put in it. Thanks again!

Just a quick ???? about the base oil in a Banshee.......like what weight and should I run synthetic?
