Just heard from the owner that it has some sort of aftermarket flywheel/stator for upgraded lights. He will be getting me the stock stuff monday. I believe this to be the problem now.
Thank you for the replys. It has brand new plugs. I will check out the compressions, jets, carb bowls, and flywheel and see what I come up with. I know for sure the coil and CDI module at not the poblems.
I got a 2000 banshee in my garage. Its not mine, just trying to get it running.
It has:
FMF fattys
Proflow Intake
No lid on air box
Powercore2 silencers
Aluminum Cool Head
It has fresh gas with yamaha pemix oil at 32:1
Took carbs apart and cleaned
Gas is getting to carbs and reeds are wet
I am getting spark on both plugs
Compression seems low, but I don't know what good compression is. I easily turn it over by hand
It has less compression than my Suzuki 1992 rm250
Any help please with getting this thing running.
Also what should the jetting be with elevation of 0-1000 ft?
