  2. That's what we run on stock bikes with pipes and filters at sea level
  3. if its not ported and stock compression... if u got stock carbs... needle middle clip, 27.5 pilot, and about 310 main should be close
  4. My servals with a mild port job are on the way. I am running T5's now with a 4m stock cyl, v3's, 19cc domes, 7degrees anvanced and 35mm pwk's. what pipes are gonna compliment this set up with the servals?
  5. first with a 1/8th inch die grinder and 1/2in cotton bobs, I run the bob on a piece of 80 grit sand paper until I get whatever shape I need to get into whatever nook or cranie I need to get into, then apply 320grit greasless compound and get all the hard to reach places. Then apply the 320 greasless to a 10in loose buff wheel on bench polisher to get everywhere else. After u get everything to a satin finish repeat steps with red rouge.

  7. I enjoy doing stuff like this.. even if i'm putting more work into it than i need to. I'm looking in to getting a 4-axes cnc milling machine with taxes this year.. that should cut alot of time out of the job, but that kinda defeats the idea of a one of a kind hand made piece
  8. it was less than a hour on the saw... the rest was sanding and polishing. the material i was using wasn't in the greatest shape
  9. if u do post pics i love to see hand fabed parts...their always one of a kind
  10. all it cost me was about 4 hours of my time... i made it out of a piece of road sign
  11. not my bike... its a buddys, buy thats what happens when your steering stops are worn out
  12. This is my first shot at making a grille and I'm sure there is more to come. I made this for a friend... his nickname is froggy. I yhink it turned out pretty good. what u guys think?
  13. I picked my 06' yfz's just under $160 new and picked up a triple rate WORKS spiring kit for $199 and one of my buddys have a 06' shee with elkas and another with WORKS black widdows and after riding mine he wished he wouldnt have spent the money. as 4 the balljoint problem i have been running mine hard since sept 06' and no problems yet!!
  14. V-force III STUFFERS from Cascade Innovations any info would be great!! http://webforce.nwrain.net/founder/cascade...TORE_DEPT_ID=83
  15. I have rode both the first thing i noticed on the trx was the awsome suspension but seamed a little narrow with a set of +2 a-arms it would ride a little softer and give it a wider stance and would b a perfect bike if your getting a 06' or newer. if not the trx has a really hard to kick backasswards kick start that i know my wife would have a hard time starting. the yfz has a electric start and it sits a little wider but the seat height is considerably higher wich makes it feel alittle top heavy and the supension is stiffer than shit so its a workout keeping it on all 4 (that's on the sand). on the other hand it has considerably more power than the trx. i haven't read all the replies so i don't know if the suzuki 450 was suggested or not. the suzuki 450 with a k&n and a yoshimaura cherry bomb(a $40 upgrade) and the baffle removed from the stock exaust will spank both the trx and the yfz power wise and has a lower center of gravity, wider stance, softer ride, way lower seat hieght and electric start. the only bad thing is the really stiff seat that the supension more than compansates for. I have rode all of the above and this is just my personal oponion!
  16. thats where i ride on big weekends 4 the party's on laborday, memorialday and the 4th if it falls on a weekend. but on the off weekends i want to "RIDE" so i go to spinreel because you don't have to worry about as many other riders to dodge and the riding in my opinion is just better. more area, more spread out and more and better "HELL HOLES". but thats just my opinion.
  17. actualy it was nice all weekend until about 2 or 3pm monday (the 1st). tuesday was pooring we spent most the day in the trailer. we go every newyears last year it was hailing. we don't care if its to shitty to ride we just get drunk!
  18. not the grab bar the front bumper again sweet rebuild thou!!
  19. very nice!! you do need a seat cover to tie it all together. you can make your own @ http://webforce.nwrain.net/founder/cascade...tions/index.htm and also where did you get tha sweet bumper? who makes it?
