  1. They will use the same style of jet. To mesure the bore size use a set of calipers(in mm) and mesure the distance across the middle. Some carbs have a slight taper to them so you may have to take a couple of mesurements. One inside as close the slide as you can get, and one as close to the oppening where the boot meets the carb as possible. It may not be exact. For example it may be like 33.3 instead of a true 33mm.
  2. Has the motor been ported. If so, some port jobs can have a "hesitation" on the low end caused from improper port timing. Some carbs make the hesitation worse than others. For example a Mikuni has better low end adjustments than a Kehin so you can generally tune through the bog better. Not saying this is the problem, just something to check. You may need to go to a different needle to help the transision between the pilot and the needle. Good luck!
  3. Moto Tassinari has been making the V-Force 3 for snowmobiles for the last two years with verry good results. The V-force 3 is stronger than the V-Force 2 and I have found that the petal life on the 3 is much better. I like the fact that their is no risk of a screw comming out and going into the motor, as this did happen on a few snowmobiles with the V-Force 2's. I am running them on a bike and love them. I broke a petal about two months after I bought them. Moto Tassinari warrented them for free, no questions asked.
  4. I have been hearing good things about this pipe set. Any body else know much about them. I rode a 02 with the SLP porting and carb set up with the SLP pipes. I loved how much bottom end it had, yet it still pulled just as hard on top. Verry smooth power. For those who aren't familliar with them, check out this link I found.slp banshee pipes
  5. I disagree with this statement. Running to lean of a pilot jet can cause a high idle. It's just like turning your air screws out to far. DIRTBIKEZ, It sounds like you have the right idea. You have checked the correct things and I don't think you have an air leak. It is posibble for a different exaust sytem to lean you out on the bottom end so I would try the richer pilot jet jet. I see this all the time on dirt bikes and sleds. After you change you pilot you will need to try adjusting you air screws again. Good luck.
