  1. hey, i saw you were from cocoa beach, but your name says miami. i go to cocoa beach every year to chill out for a couple weeks, any decent places to ride there? i am pretty familiar with the area of cocoa, merrit island, and cocoa beach and somewhat melbourne/palm bay area. if you could hook me up with a place to ride and keep my shee at while im there id love to ride with ya!

  2. is a cool head a worthwhile mod to do to a stock motor? if i decide to get one do you guys reccommend pro design, duncan, noss, vito's??? also what sized domes would be a good size for a stock motor? kind of kicking around the idea of getting one. i was also wondering about the vforce 3 reed system, i had the vforce 2 in one of my other banshees and was not very impressed in the quality of the unit, any leads to a good reed valve system? i am asking all these questions so i can have all the parts that i want here when i pick up the shee so i can put it all on at the same time instead of tearing it apart 18,000 times. im sure you guys can understand that.........

i forgot to mention to you guys i do 99% trail riding, some pavement pounding (not asphalt racing) the only time i really get on to the pavement is just to and from trails and to race my buddies, but the trails we have are wide and long with lots of burms and jumps, kind of comparable to an mx style of riding. lots of places to lift the slides to the top.

  3. Mine work great. Was your uncle using the ny-loc nuts that come with the arms, i don't think he was cuz he would not have had that problem. As far as usin the stock shocks with extended a-arms i wouldn't do it. I would wait until you have the money to get the arms and properly valved after market shocks at the same time. The stockers will be WAY to soft when used with extended arms.

    EDIT: typos

hmmm.........never thought about that. can anyone else concur this opinion?? makes sense to me but any experience with this being an issue with stock shox??

  4. i was looking into getting some +2 +1 ASR a arms but i have never heard of them. so i thought id ask around before i bought em. also was looking at some fullflights. i would like to get the leager elka combo but after putting $16,000 on the mortgage my snaps are kinda low, so i thought of just putting some arms on that i can use with my stock shocks for now. any info on these 2 brands or reccomendations on other brands that arent $800 please let me know. thank you

  5. oh i forgot to mention that i paid $2,999 (from a yamaha dealership) out of wisconsin, i gotta drive about 4 hrs to get it but itll be all worth while, cuz the minute it rolls out of the truck its getting tore down to install the TORS eliminator, jets, and pipes, then im hittin the trails

  6. 1-2 packs of marlboro blend no.27 a day, i work construction outside so i tend to have a stogie in my mouth a lil more often than id like. i quit for about 3 weeks a bout a year ago, i used the nicoderm cq patch......it really does work but no where on the box did it say "MAKE SURE TO HAVE A PATCH ON WHEN ENTERING A BAR" so i fucked up, and still smoking

  7. Go for the LT250R No doubt about it. I had one for over 10 years and they handle great, Theyre light, they fly in the air better than most quads, They are fast as all hell on the tracks, and they have heaps more power than the 300ex. The frames are definatly more suitable for a conversion too. My buddie bought a brand new 300ex (I still have no clue why he did that) But we used to race in all conditions and I would smoke him in every condition. Drags were a joke. If we swaped bikes he would smoke me it would be closer but Im a much better rider than he is on quads. You cant go wrong with the LT250R and it probably already has a pipe and reeds on it. Get it ported and you will be beating piped Banshees!

i would also go with the 250r, i have ridden both and trust me....the ergonomics alone will side you with the 250, not to mention its a 2 stroke and twice as fast. plus youll own a little piece of history as well!!
