  1. Its all what you can get used to and what you can handle. A Banshee is never gonna be a great trail bike I dont care what you do to it but you can manage. In the opens and striaghts makes up for the short comings of the trails. You can wrestle it through the trails but when its sucks your face back on a straight you know what its all about.

How do you like the 916's?

so far i really like the pipes, and as you both know they sound great

  2. How often do you foul a plug?? Once a year isn't bad at all, you should change them anyways...my plugs always look black and shitty after normal riding, but after a wot run, they clean right up...If your fouling plugs all the time, then go back to a stock needle and try different clip positions, the shee will either like it or hate it..find the sweet spot and shee won't foul plugs...DO NOT change the oi mixture. Your mains are lean if anything. Also make sure you warm the shee up before running hard, you can actually foul a plug by revving a motor cold.

i dont fould them to where they done operate they are just very wet looking and a little browner than i would like to see, maybe that is a good thing to be running a little on the rich side. but i did get the stage 2 jet kit which is what i should have ordered in the first place. so should i leave it as is or put the stage 2 needles in?

  3. Got a link?

i have had t5's, fatties, gnarleys, bills, pt mids, dmc aliens, and i now have dmc 916's. i would say the t5's and dmc 916's are the best pipe i have had for the type of riding i do, and the 916's are by far the best "sounding" pipe available in my opinion but you cannot base decision on sound. if you are looking for mainly low end power then i would steer you towards the paul turners ot the gnarleys. i got my dmc's fom www.worldwideperformance.com

  4. i am thinkning of going to a bigger motor in my shee this fall, just wondering if a cheetah or a cub set up would be of interest to me for trail riding. the trails i ride are open and not tight woods type trails. ive seen a lot of talk about cheetahs and cubs being too much for trail riding, but what would be the advantages and disadvantages if that is what i was looking to do to my bike. and if there are better options what are they??

  5. my plugs seem to be oil fouling. the plugs still spark and operate but when i pull them they are dark brown and wet. i have stock pilots, 270 mains, dynojet stage 3 "304" needles. i guess the stage 3 is for mildy tuned engines with airbox REMOVED with clamp ons. so i ordered the stage 2 for the shorter needle. my air mix screws are at 1 1 /2 out do you think it could be the screws or the needle?? i dont really think i should go down any on the main jet. temp has been below zero to about 20 above lately, and i am at about 700ft. what do u guys think??

  6. Going to Florida March 8th with the guys. We'll be landing in Tampa Bay,staying around the Gulf and driving to Fort Myers. We are thinking of going to Miami. What's all in Maimi that could reel us in.It's just alot of driving.

what can reel you into miami is SOUTH BEACH, WOMEN, and itll be considerably warmer than the tampa area. plus there aint shit to do in tampa, go to the east coast bro. cocoa beach is where its at. 45min north: Daytona, 45 min east, Orlando, and south gets a whole lot better.

  7. Weel i took her out for the first time today. seemed to run excellent, all the power is there......and those new holeshot xcr03's really pull throught the snow too. i checked the plugs after i got home and it seems to be a little on the rich side but it wasnt bogging or cutting out on me at all. i am going to do the plug chop tomorrow and will post pics just to be sure i am ok. i have my jetting at: main pilots, 270 main, 304 dynojet needle on 4th groove, and air/mix screw at 1 1/2 out. temps are zero and below, and elevation is at about 700ft. does that seem good where im at for jetting?

  8. Here is the families other hobby. Its a 79 monte carlo. The class we run is purestock with a stock 305 engine. We run 3/8 mile track our home town. Then the other tracks are right around that too. This is our car from 2006.

so is that the Wissota circuit u run up there in hibbing? We are NASCAR Weekly/IMCA. we have 3 local track we run on, 2 of them are 3/8 mile banked and the other ia a half mile simi banked.

  9. Well the motor that was in it in that vid was the 440.. It ran pretty good but needed a few changes in the setup.. The 383 I got is a HP motor that I want to go through and build strickly for forced induction.. 383 isn't a bad engine but I think would really benifit from boost

    RIPPEN

i am running a 383 in the modified (rollers) 383 are a very good motor, the best small block in my opinion, although you can get a hell of a motor out of a 400 small block too.

  10. ok so today i was all se to do the plug chop test, and i couldnt even get the shee to stay running long enough to warm up. and for some reason the left carb kept puking, sometimes going in and out at a very rough idle then the shee dies. i tapped the hell out of the bowl to see if the float was sticking, but didnt do anything. plugs get very wet but not dark. would it be possible for condensation to build up inside the engine? also the little black tors box is still hooked up, i know i need to unhook it, dont know why i forgot, but i did take the little sensor out of the thumb throttle.
