Just doing some reading,my shee idles fine but boggs when any gas is given to her,can the parking brake being on the bike make it bogg like that,someone had the same thing.and if yes do i just take it out.thanks for any help

yes,changed the carbs and put another set in.ran for a day,then just started to bogg and dies yes the screws are in.

yes,they both do smoke.if it runs that long before it stalls

I did run 40 to 1 and then someone said to go to 50 to 1 still runs like sh!t with 50 or 40

i don't think its the gas,oil mix?

i'm running 5 to 1

hay guys, want to thank everyone for the help.got my banshee to idle fine.,can't give it any gas or it boggs and stalls.i cleaned the carbs.put new reeds in.but 1 thing is that the spark plugs have alot of oil on them,change the plugs,did the same thing.so know what?anyone

Hello giys, still having problems.I changed my carbs out,with stock carbs.and it is still bogging out in 1 gear, then it will stall.Put new reeds,new plugs (4 SETS)the plugs are fouling out(really wet and black) I bought it on ebay a few weeks ago and its bogged in 1 gear the day i got it,but ran fine in full throttle,then just got worse,not it idles for a few min. give it any gas it dies.I called the guy i bought it from,he said it bogged on him once he went to a twist throttle. spark is strong compression is strong carb cleaner reveiled no major leaks .............next thing pilots

not sure new bike to me alwys ran rich with high or low or normal idle depending on temp of bike warmer it gets it has a tendency to race up in idle

also i am at 2 feet above sea level and about 30-50 degrees

bike runs good past 1/4 throttle but anything less than that and it bogs and almost floods....................would that mean the pilots are too small or too big or just clogged.jetting is completely stock bike runs good past 1/4 throttle ....any less and it bogs and almost floods.i assume that points to pilots not main.bike is stock jetting and settings. should the pilot be smaller,bigger or possiblely clogged

got it to idle little better,but alot of white smoke(alot)and still bogging in 1 gear.do i spray the carb and the cylinders.what else or is that it.thanks.i'm almost fed up with think,about to put it on ebay

hello, i have a 2002 banshee that runs rough,bogs in first gear -ok after that- starts usually first or second when cold. sometimes wont start when warmed up and if it does it will usually idle high .seems to be excessive smoke from both pipes.checked plugs, both are very wet.bike is completely stock except for twist throttle and no tors i run spectro gold at 40:1.carbs have been cleaned, reeds have been changed,new plugs as well. any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

Does anyone know what the cdi is iwant to check them today,i think that might be my problem. would it still idle really high if that was the problem?hope someone can help

I think the tors are off,because i have a stwiet throttle and the thing u said is off.its on my 2003 anything else u can think of will help me thanks

i think i'll just put a match to it andburn it to the ground,that should fix it ::

i have 2 banshees 2003 works fine,the 2002 stalls like i said,but its got no balls to it either,it bogs in 1 gear,just doesn't have the punch like the 2003.

i did and still do not no what it looks like.i have downloaded the file.can't really see it on that.

i replaced the spark plugs,the guy that did it said i was getting spark on both sides,i really don't no if the tors are on or off.someone said that if i have a twist throttle that the tors would be off,how can i tell,it idles really high.thanks

Hello guys, I have a 2002 banshee,thats was stalling out.alot of people told me to clean the carbs,replace the reeds.did all that and it still idles high,runs for about 5 and stalls,wait a few mins and starts for 5 mins and stalls.I've heard alot about the tors but don't now if i have them.this banshee has a twist throttle,could that have something todo with it.can someone help me please.thanks
