  1. ok cool. I am using the correct spark plugs. New ones. Also realized that the gas that I had put in this has been sitting in the can for several months. Not sure, but im going to get fresh gas in the morning. Reeds look new. Carbs cleaned again, just to be sure. Will make a leak down tester. thx
  2. I know I should have a leak tester, but I don't. What is a decent one that doesn't cost much
  3. Gauge read 123 on one side and 121 on the other. Would these pressures inhibit the machine from starting?

  5. Ok guys, carbs are clean, spark is bright, good fuel. Kicked her about a million times. Plugs are dry. It did weakly try to start a few times. Would i be correct to assume that when i put my compression gauge on, i will find my issue?
  6. If everything ohmed out properly on my electrical system, with no spark, or sometimes very very weak spark, would it be the CDI or the stator. I did test the stator according to Clymer, but I have read that it could still be the prob. Ignition coil good, on/off switch good, stator good (according to testability). I also get no energy to the lighting system at all. Normally when I kick it with the lights on, they at least try to come on until it starts then they are full on. Is this indicative of stator also?

  8. OK. Just installed the TORS elimination, tapped the carbs. Seemed easy enough. got on bike. wont start. Tested the plugs, and no spark. I was trying to follow the motion pro instructions on how to reroute the wires. Confusing as hell. Not sure if I need to do anything once the Tors control is unplugged. Any wiring info would be great. Please help. Jarrod

  10. Ok guys, I'm not a rookie at repairing these,but I need some thoughts. Getting no fire at all. All resistances have checked out except for secondaries on the three ignition coils, but they never check out like clymers says. Don't think that's the prob. When lights turned on,I don't even get a glimmer while kicking. Stator checks out. Is it my cdi? Also still have tours. Elimination on its way. Could tors be the prob?
  11. Ok guys, I have an ATC 250R that my banshee will smoke and I have been hearing about this 450R that will beat my banshee. So of course, I go get the 2011 450R special edition. It is bone stock right now, but it is no where near the banshee except for the handling. I mean it is 50 inches wide. Love all yamahas, but banshee is still king around here.
  12. OK Guys, I have been a toomey rider all my life. I love the sound. Never heard the DMC 916s except for on the internet, which is no a great example, but they sound very good on the net. What are some opinions of DMCs 916 vs. T6 thanks

  14. I am attempting to replace my old thumb throttle with the modquad throttle. I still have the tors right now. When I took the cover off and loosened the old throttle the assemple fell apart. Not sure where the spring goes that was in there. Please help with pictures or description thx Jarrod
  15. I got my chariot cool head with 20 cc domes. All orings seem straight forward. However, the oring that is snaked around on the attachement for the coolant is a bitch. I cant keep it in. Does anyone have any tricks on keeping the oring in for installation Help Jarrod
  16. probably a dumb question, but do I need a new head gasket? Not sure on the installation. Do the orings do the trick by themselves? Not sure where 3 of them go. Who can I ask for help. dont want to mess it up.

  19. Hello guys, I am highly debating on what head and dome setup to buy. I really like the chariot cool head, but their domes claim to have a blaster angle. WTF is that? What is the advantage and disadvantage of a 19 vs. a 17 dome? Root

  22. Obviously a newbie question. But with stock pistons and only t6s and vforceIII's, would 19mm domes and cool head give more power. Is it feasible? that is also with a 4+ timing. What is the purpose? Please help the dumbass thanks
  23. Guys, I have been riding for many years, but just got a taste of mild dirt dragging in Louisiana. For starters, I want the 392 cub becuase the rest I can keep stock. Can I run T-5s or T-6s, do I need porting?, What is a decent price for the kit (cylinders)? Where do you recommend that I get them. Also, what is a decent tire to run? thanks Jarrod
