I just bought a set of T6's. I havent got them on yet. Just wondering if there is much difference in the 5's and 6's? I have PC"s on my banshee right now(other mod's cool head w/20cc, VF3's,200w stator,lightened flywheel,K&N,PC's) Hopefully I'll notice some difference in the T6's from the PC's. Another question while i'm on here: What jet size sound right for my application when i put the t6s on?(elevation might be below 1000 ft above sea level) someone said go w/ 310???? thanks everyone!

Banshee started leaking fuel from the right carb out of the lower overflow tube. Tapped on it to maybe release the float, then took it apart cleaned out, but still doing it. What else could cause this? Any help greatly appreciated!

Check the wiring from under the thumb throttle cover. I had this same problem and one of the wires came loose. This will cause these problems. Also make sure that the choke tube is connected to both carbs. This is a common thing overlooked(learn from experience). Not saying these will fix it but something easy to check. Hope this helps a little.

flywheel on the way, even comes w/ a tool. Hope this is why it wont start!!!!

as some of you know i messed my flywheel up pulling it off. Wondering if i should go on a get a lightened flywheel. Seller says i'll have much better response and icreased speed through gears. Is this true?

This must be a sign. Ive been debating on buying these off ebay for a couple of days now but not sure if i should just jet it up or what. Looks like carbs it is thanks guys. now i just have to show my girlfriend these postings then she'll understand why i NEED these carbs ........ :biggrin:

I put on an adjustable timing plate this past weekend and after getting everything back together I tried to fire it up but it wouldnt start. Everyone out there will laugh at me but i used a claw type puller on the flywheel. Noticed it did leave a little impression on the flywheel. Not much but it did. Wondering if this is why it wont start or is it just a crazy coensedence (:shrug: ) that something else is wrong. I checked for spark it's not getting anything. Plenty of fuel/ Everything was running perfect before i done this. Could it be the stator. I checked it over and everything looks good. Someone help me. My local Yamaha shop said 2 weeks before they can look at it---cant be away from the banshee that long!!!!!!!!!! :sad:

what do you use to shave the fenders with? Does it have a smooth finish? Do I shave completely down flush with the tank cover plastics? Just need some input before i do this thanks

I appreciate everyones input. I'll prob go with just the plate for now. Prob bump up 2 degrees until I at least get a port job. Is this something anyone can install?

Bought the pro-design intake and VF3's and i say hell yeah it's worth it. Noticed improvement on bottom end. Also you should think about pipe/jet kit upgrade too! That's a good start. FYI - TRY EBAY! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING

Been browsing around ebay and thinking about buying a 100watt stator/adjustable timing plate kit for $135 Anyone have any suggestions on what to buy? I havent heard enough about them to decide. hey everyone. Just got my first banshee this past winter and been doing some mods lately. I just am starting to really ride it now that its getting alot warmer outside. Was stock when i bought it but so far i have started with cool head w/ 21s,pro circuit pipes, vf3's, K&N (no lid)and off course the great thing they call UNICAL. . Been looking at some more noticeable mods like a timing advance kit. Wondering if this would be ok for me going around +4 or so. Also how high can i go on jetting and what would be a good for my banshee w/ this setup?? (LIVE IN SOUTHERN INDIANA --maybe 500 ft above sea level) Any help would be great,

i'm selling my fmfs, they are the gold series head pipes w/ powercore II silencers. Head pipes have rust on them, but no dents,i'll try to clean them up some. silencers are in excellent cond. what would happen if you went w/ too small of domes. I know compression goes up, but will it hurt the performance. Just wondering, cuz i'm using 19s on a stock motor,seems to be ok. :shrug:

sorry if you misunderstood my post. everything is perfect motor wise, just the kick start is not catching, i can pull start it and it fires right up. Problem is in the kick starter. But thanks for your time and input anyway. thanks, ill remove it and take a look and let you know whats up. :biggrin:

HAVE A BANSHEE THAT WILL NOT CATCH WHEN YOU KICK START IT. FREE ALL THE WAY. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT IT MIGHT BE. THANKS

have 2001 honda 400ex, red, has big bore 440, cam,white bros rev box,k&n,pro circuit pipe,brand new tires front and rear,renthal bars,shorter sprocket for low end, Pretty quick, plastics have typical wear and scratches 2,500 (may consider trade for banshee)
