you can usually find stock carbs on EBAY pretty cheap. also you might come across a deal on some aftermarket pipes on there. Yeah you would be surpised what pipes and a filter will do!

hey guys, been shopping around for +4 swinger, before i invest in one i was wondering could i use the stock shock, chain, brake line?? Also, will this greatly effect handling through the woods/trails, because i still want to be able to trail ride along with some dragging when i feel like woopin on my buddies. thanks

ok, gonna try it. never thought this would be such a pain in the ass. I had no clue why it was falling on it's face by 5th gear. Thought had the main way off at first. Well thanks i'll give an update.

what's a pingle, dual petcocks or something ? I did find a T with the same sizes out as in and i then used the correct fuel line size to the carbs and clamped the hell outa it. It seems a little better but the bowls are still running dry by 6th gear. Up till then it runs like a scalded dog.

just put on the 30 mm carbs, seems like the jetting is fine but after 4th gear it seems like i'm running out of fuel. it seems like the bowls are running dry. Has anyone heard of making the inlet tubes bigger? I had to use a reducer at the T for the smaller fuel line, would this give me problems? any advice would be appreciated.

hey just wondering if you ever figured out why you have the fuel leak. my 03 is doing the same damn thing. i tore both carbs apart and cleaned em out. still doing it. banshee wont even run.

yeah i know there is alot on here about carbs pal! Just wanting some additional info if anyone has it! Like the fuel tubes being smaller on the carbs, do i just buy an adapter or do they make a special one. Also do i just tie up the wires for the tors and it'll run or what? Told you im new at this. hey just got the 30 mm carbs in . is there anything i need to know before starting this project. According to yamaha dealer i have the right jet setups. Anything else i need to know. Also I noticed the fuel inlets look smaller than my stock fuel line......ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED, I'M NEW AT THIS

I bought the 30mm carbs off ebay a while back and just now trying to get them on. If anyone has done this mod and have any comments or advice i would appreciate it. I'm relitively new on banshee's so any help would be appreciated. I noticed that also the fuel inlets on the carbs are different size than stock. Also the carbs are the exact same thing left and right. so the choke is on the inside and looks like it might not come out all the way. Weird design, you would think it would be made for each side. Might just take it to yamaha and say here ya go Any one with experience on this help me out please. thanks

Up for sale or trade is one of my banshees, Need to get a vehicle ASAP Here's what it is 2003 Banshee black/red plastics stock motor k&n filter, jetted have two sets of pipe - Pro Circuits and Fmf's Boysden reeds/spacers (not installed) aftermarket handlebars rear tires are pretty bald due to road riding but will get you by Motor is strong, of course you guys know what it should run like. Pretty fast. Plastics have some scratches but hey theyre black. I bought this only a month ago from a good friend and i know it doesnt have very many hours on it. I have all the paperwork on it where he bought it from the dealer brand new. If any one is seriously interested in this i'll send them pics. Selling this due to the fact that i found a great deal on a banshee for my girlfriend and we dont need this anymore. Not to put it down or anything, it runs good and pretty quick for a 4 stroke. So if interested then read below 2001 Honda 400 ex big bore, 1 yr ago, pro circuit T4 pipe(piss-the-neihbors-off loud!), k&n, white bro's high rev cdi box,Brand new rear tires(stock), brand new front tires(fast trekkers)brand new sprocket and chain, renthal bars, Plastics are little faded and have scratches, seat is faded, and air box is busted a little, also where the front bumper bolts on the frame the bolt hole is smashed, could be repaired doesnt amount to anything though. Just got my carbs i ordered from ebay in today. They are the 30mm dslide carbs. Just wondering if anyone has tackled this project and can give me some tips. I didnt realize that each of these have a choke and that they are on the top of the carbs. Havent got them on yet but it looks like my pipes will be pretty close to these? Also about the jetting, why are the jets so small? I am no professional but I like doing things myself but this might be one of those Yamaha dealer trips. If any one has tackled this project and wants to tell me about it i would appreciate it thanks!
