  1. i unplugged the tors completly. i couldnt see there being much difference between the 290 and 310 jet since it runs about the same with both of them. and it ran like a top with the 310 before....
  2. ok another update... it'll rev up clean all the way, without the air box on. it will only start with the choke on, even when its hot. and it sounds like it runs out of gas and dies randomly. i can take it all the way up in 2nd and it'll run up there with no pops or hesitation, but it feels like it loses power at the top. it runs the same with the 290 and 310 jet, but it seems to start easier with the 290. and it'll only run/start with the mixture screw all the way in. any suggestions?
  3. well she got a 290 jet, put that sucker in there and does the same thing. if i take the entire air box off, and let it suck straight into the carb it seems to run awesome. itll rev up and not bog at all. but when i put it in gear and put a load on the motor it dies.

  6. gf is picking up a 280 jet on her way home. will be here tonight. any theory why it ran fine before on the 310 jet? its possible the guy was a fuckstick and thought going .80 over would mean 80 more ccs but he didnt look THAT stupid. Will try the new jet, i dont really care what solves the problem as long as she gets to ride it. also, the guy was putting maxim oil in the gas, and i have been using dumont? ithink it is. comes in a red bottle. he said 32:1 and thats what ive been using. also, what is the correct setting for the mixture screw? i was told 2 1/2 out
  7. when i bought it the guy told me "280cc" i test rode a powroll 230 blaster with a pipe and silencer and this blaster would take a gigantic shit on it. it could be a custom job to get it to 280cc. KEEP IT MIND. this thing RAN PERFECT. for about 2 weeks, nothing has changed except for the fact that it runs like shit now. the needle is all the way up. should i try a 280 jet anyways? the plug is not black or white it still looks brand new, althought when i twas running the jet would get a little black...
  8. i use i think its called dumont? "racing sythetic" it come in a red tube/bottle and 32:1 in my gf's blaster

  10. i will go take the carb off again and clean it out again and check the jet as for the oil injection none of that shit is on there anymore except the TORS deal ontop of the carb it wont really idle i have to keep my thumb on the throttle to keep it running. this is like 30 seconds before it starts acting up and doing wierd shit PS: everyone please remember this thing ran perfectly about 1 week ago, for about 3 tanks.

  12. i can remember what jet it has. i think i remember seeing 140? but that might have been my 350x. lol i took the carbs apart the same day. it ran awesome, all the way to the top when i first got it. the pipe is a FMF fatty, and the airbox lid is removed, and also there was a high flow filter on there. but it does this no matter what i do. even w/ no filter i will join your forums later today.

This is my GF's blaster i bought for her. ran excellent for about 2 weeks. starts up 2nd kick with choke on. let it warm up take choke off still runs ok with thumb on throttle. anytime you give it gas it bogs down and wants to die. if you let it die its extremely hard to start back up, have give it a sliver of gas and sometimes it'll chug chug chug chug and start to run. ive done: new spark plug new spark plug boot new gas checked reeds (felt fine) cleaned entire carb out (jets, etc... everything) checked for air leaks, tightend up all nuts and bolts around engine (except head bolts were already super tight) tried it with TORS unplugged (i already mix gas) checked petcock valve dont know what else to do... im at a loss it did run once...
