I just checked cascade and they're 550 bare plus the bolts needed are about another 100+ so you're getting a crackhead deal guys.. -
I have 2 sets of brand new cases. One set is complete with all the bolts needed to bolt the cases together as well as the studs for the jugs. The complete set I'd like 450 and the bare set I'd like 350. This is a crackhead deal I can assure you that. New cases are in the high 500 and that's bare. You can text me if you want (619)Five69-Three247 Nick

It does seem rather fishey and to top it off, this guy still hasn't posted pictures or done anything to prove us wrong. On the other hand if he is scamming he would ask for a payment previous to meeting with you. Whats he gonna do, rob several people at gun point when they go meet with him to pick up the bike?? That would probably only work the first 2 times until cops could catch up with him. So I dunno I would like to see the outcome of this one. BTW he still won't answer his phone? He even stated how busy he was and how sorry he was but I don't see any effort on his part! If he was so sorry he would make sure to answer all phone calls pertaining to the bikes. I even left a message and still no response!

I would have to say around 320 to 340 on the main but not quit sure about the pilot. 27.5-30 would be a good ballpark. I assume you have stock carbs but if not please specify. Also, it depends on where you ride and rding conditions.

lower than 400??? come on buddy thats a good deal as it is. Thanks for your interest anyway but pipes are sold!

I have for sale a set of Toomey T6 pipes in almost new condition. There is not a single dent in these pipes. They have a little amount of blueing where the pipes meets the jugs but thats normal. Asking $450.00 plus shipping. Thats a good deal so dont let it pass you up! I will only accpet paypal since its the safest way to buy and sell! PM if your interested! Thanks Nick

thanks alot for your helpful insight. I will most likely tackle the jetting this weekend. I will definetly do a plug chop to get more of an exact answer. I am gonna start with 160 mains and a 55 pilot and see what results I get out of that. I am pretty close but I think I am running on the rich side.

cg-j in the 3rd position

I am a little about sea level and I also have temps ranging from 70-90. I just need to try some new ones and see what works or me. What pipes were you using?
-
I will be doing that today. I hope I see a significant difference. I will let you guys know. Thanks again!
-
Thanks man. I wasn't looking at getting a perfect answer. More of a ballpark figure that would help me get this thing tuned. I agree I do think its rich but like I said its hard for me to tune it unless I am at the desert. Now that I have some kind of baseline to wrok with I can go get some jets accordingly. Thanks guys and again I appologize if I lashed out at anyone and offended them. I have one more question. Do you guys think that getting in jetted properly would bring out the beast in it?? I just feel that my bike should be running alot faster than it is. I know that running it rich could affect its performance but ultimatly in the end how much of a difference does that make? I mean obviously I am running rich but do a few jet sizes make that much of a difference?
-
165 mains and 58 pilot and its loading up on the bottom. has no bottom end at all.
-
Hey thanks for all the input guys. I am not knocking the builder (well maybe I am a little) but I for the money I spent you guys would understand. I guess your right, I am looking for more of a direct answer. I have taken apart the carbs several times. I think I was just looking for someone with the similar setup, altitiude, temp, blah blah that could give me a round a bout on thier size jets so I could compare. Another thing is its hard to go anywhere to tune my bike unless its the desert. There is nowhere to ride around here and most of the time someone calls the cops if I bring it outside. I do appologize for lashing out at you but I am sort of frustrated. This is the first time I built a banshee and if I had the chance I would do it all over again. Are t6's really that bad of a pipe when it comes to ported motors? does anyone have any dyno comparisions? I bought these pipes when they first came out so I dont think to many people were aware of that.
-
Am I not being clear or something?????? I specifically stated that I was lacking knowledge when it comes to jetting a bike properly. I simply asked for peoples opinion. What arent you understanding?? I paid to have them port and polish and freshin up the top end. Thier job is to jet it right so that its running its best. What arent you understanding?????????????????????????
-
How am I talking shit about him??? He told me himself that this is the best it would run unless I used thier pipes. I am trying to get other people's opinion as far as jetting goes. I think he set it up rich so it wouldn't be at its best. I think he wants me to buy his pipes so that he can get the thing runnin how it should be. Also, I am not giving up on it, I just wish I didnt make the mistake the first time around. You live and learn. As far as taking it to a shop I will to have the porting and machining done but when it comes to reassembling I think I will do that myself. I just need a manuel and I am set!
-
See thats the thing. I had a guy do some porting on the cylinders before and I think he had it set up for top end because he ported reall high on the exhaust side. Then when Duncan got a hold of it he had told me that whoever ported this engine before went to high on the exhaust side and he said he would do his best to fix it. I think its mostly set up for top end but even then, I dont hink the bike is running as good as it should be. I dont know if I am allowed to post this but does anyone know anyone with some stock cylinders for cheap? That way I can just start all over!
-
I think that I am gonna go with a different set of pipes. I have heard only good things about the t5's. Other than that I need to get the jetting down. I dont think my bike is running at its full potential.

My suggestion to you is this.... THis may seem like a lot of work but I can garuntee you it will all be worth it in the end. Buy a complete brand new a-arm frame and have it powder-coated. Then slowly get your front a-arms and shocks of choice and then swap everything over. I myself did this and I couldnt be happier. If you plan to powercoat your frame then this would be the smartest thing to do. Take your time doing it and buy all the pieces one at a time. I just recently bought a stock a-arm frame 05' for 600. I am gonna use roll-design so it may get expensive for me but if you decide to use stock parts you can get cheap a-arms on ebay for no more than 50 dollars. Sorry I am just ramblen on.
