  1. I used to have a auto detailing company and I always used blue magic to polish metal. It's the best stuff ever.
  2. nameehsnab, I didn't get the message you sent me. I tried sending you one but it doesn't show up in my sent messages folder. Can you email me the templates? My email is ferociousllama at gmail dot com. I appreciate it. thanks.
  3. Everyone I have heard from that used the port template has had great results. I also hear that a professional port can get more power. My Banshee is already faster than all my friends toys and I don't need it to race or anything. I just want to be able to go fast when I want to. I have ported 2 strokes before and they came out great. I have the tools and knowledge of how to port so I can't justify spending a bunch of money for someone else to do it. I understand that parts are expensive so no one wants to do it themselves. I would much rather do it my self and mess up my cylinders because I can get new ones for less than a port job would cost. So, anyone who has templates please email them to me or post them or something. If you want money or something let me know and I'll paypal it to you.
  4. Does anyone have any templates that they are done with? if so can you send them to me? or can you just make a xerox copy of them? I just can't pay $89 for a template. I have the tools to do the job but I can't justify spending that much money on a simple template.
  5. I have heard it's possible to swap a stock banshee rear shock for one from a 450. Is there any modification required or is it just a remove and replace job? I only ask becasue I can find 450 shocks for about 1/20 of the price of a banshee stock shock. I don't ride hard (I mostly just cruise around in the dirt). And I don't have a lot of money. Can anyone tell me how to make the 450 shock work?
  6. My rear shock doesn't absorb any shock. The guy I got my banshee said I'd need to gat it "recharged" at the stealership. Is this something that I can do myself? I'd try before asking but I hate taking something apart and finding out later that I need to buy some special tool to put it back together. So does anyone know how to make my shock like new again (short of buying a new one)? Thanks in advance.
  7. I got my first banshee on Saturday. It idles really really high. I checked the evil tors things on top of the carbs and one of them was leaking air. So I fixed that and it still idles high...but not as high. Anyway, I try adjusting the screws on the top of the tors units and it had absolutely no effect. Why won't it adjust? I have gotten a few suggestions from friends, but nothing has been helpful. Does anyone know what is wrong with my banshee? Thanks in advance.
  8. I bought my first Banshee on Saturday (8/26/06). The stop switch didn't work. Opened the switch by unscrewing the 2 screws that hold it to the handle bars. There is a plastic plate with 2 contacts that slides into a groove inside the switch. The plate had popped out of the groove. All I did is pop the plate with contacts back into the groove. It works perfectly now. You can check the switch with the black wire and the black wire with a white stripe. It should be an open loop when the switch is to "on". Don't waste a hundred bucks on a new switch. I bought my first Banshee on Saturday (8/26/06). The stop switch didn't work.
