  1. ok so i entered a drag racing series and the first race is coming up this weekend. i have a set of v-force 3's coming in along with my mods lsited in sig. i will be running paddles since the only other tires i have are the stock POS ones and its pretty loose dirt. i ahve a choice between running a 14 or 13 toothe front sproket. just wondering what yall think. the paddles are 8 inch but i dont remember the exact size. i jsut know they are straight paddles and the only 8 inch rim that Kenda offers. what do yall think i should do?

  2. Ok for yall central Texas fellas that dont have anywhere to go. Here is a drag racing series thats going on at mud buddy's which is just south of hallettsville. the website is www.mudbuddys.com. if u have never been there before its a pretty cool place to ride. a little bit of everything for everyone. the races are on the third sunday of every mont starting this sunday and go through the end of june i think. ill be there so if you are going you can give me a pm and i can tell yo more about it if you would like.

  3. ok so i got the part about not having to rejet for the reeds and stuff. one ocrrection is that i have a stock cage and reeds in there now. but i am still wondering what the diffrence is between the v-force 2 and v-force 3 reeed cage setups. they are the same price and all so what is the diffrence?

  4. ok so i entered the local drag races and i kind got caught off guard. was not expecting to be doing this dragging so sson so i need yalls help. i have my sigs listed but i have a set of v-fprces on the way. i live at just above sea level and i need to know if i am going to need diffrent jetting for the v-force reeds. also what is the diffrence between the v-force2 and 3 cage setups?

  5. i have a set of beriks that i freagin love. i have bad bad ankles from football and i can tell a diffrence when i wear them. then again it might just be my mind playing tricks on me, but i do feel a lil more confident than wiht jsut tennis shoes. i had to move my shifter up quite a bit since it has a tall toe on it but you might be able to use the side of the sole to shift if it will work for you. thats what i did wiht my first set of boots. the only problem i have wiht them si that for my riding style i always have a hard time shifting (read: not letting the shift lever all the way down now) other than that get them and use them religously

  6. ok i can see sending the wrong parts or not getting the order off for a month or so. shit like that happens even though it shouldnt. what i think is a freagin joke is how the guy in their speed shop told me that i needed "CAMS" for my 2-stroke. i understand that i am frrom central texas and talk like i am from east texas but damn! i know he heard me say banshee and i know that anyone worth thier money in the atv industry knows what a banshee is.oh well

  7. ok so i called alba the other day to get some pricing on diffrent portin jobs and the guy started talking to me about getting cams after i told him i had a banshee! he wanted to sell me cams and other 4-poke specigic stuff so i told him again that i had a banshee to make sure he heard me the first few times and he said that i still needed to cam it to get the full petential out of a port job! what a freagin joke. luckily i called jeff and he got me set up now i just need to wait for a good monght of bad weather to get it all done and i am set

  8. The only thing that happened in that crash was the front tire blew the bead off the rim and my brand freagin new trail tech lights on the handlebars got all busted to shit. I jsut put them on about an hour before that wreck. I also had a pretty nasty rasberry on my leg but thats all. It ended rolling like 4 times. I checked every thing over and gave it one kick and it fired right up. Got to love those blasters. lol. Ill see if i cant find the video of that crash and post it. LOL whats funny about the whole thing is right before i wrecked i said " Ok one more time, yall watch this." famous last words i got away with.

  9. i am riding wiht the gnalrys and i love them. i do alot MX style riding since there arent any places to drag around here. you will like them. and just because they are a low to mid pipe dont mean that you cant drag race with them. i have been noticing from people that since a pipe is meant for low endpower that they think they cant drag with them. not true. you can do whatever you want with them it just makes a diffrence where your power comes in is all. im still out running craptors and such wiht my gnarlys and i freagin love it. got any more questions just shoot me a message

  10. ok so if there are any internet/computer gurus out there that now how to do this or where to get one started at let me know. im not as good with the computer as i am a wrench but i can do the fill in the blank good so let me know casue i have a lot of free time here at work to work on it. thanx

  11. you are absolutely right.

Hello, my name is Travis and i have a problem. I am an idiot. :shoothead: lol . Yeah i guess that that is going to be a good enough reason for me to to a complete tear down on it and get my porting and what not done. no really good time to do it since we usually have good riding weather here in Texas most of the time. quick question though, if i do the full drag port can i still run my FMF gnarlys? If i dont get the adjustable timing plate will that hurt the performance of the porting ? And will i still be able to do a trails/ mx style riding wiht drag porting? not much jumping involved just the turns and shit that i like. :thanks:

  12. ok im starting to get a little bit of a noise from the clutch area on my shee and this is the first i noticed it. i know it didnt do this new. sounds kinda like a humming noise. havent been on her for a couple weeks and just remebered to ask. it only does it in neutral wiht the clutch out and the bike running. pull in the clutch and it quits. is this noise just the cluthes wearing out or are these signs of a more serious problem? I am running yamalube 20-40 in it and the oil stays clean. gets changed about every 1-2 hours.

  13. if you are gonna tke the carbs completely off when u rejet then u might as well clean them if you want but it depends on how confident you are with that. its not hard to do but jsut do one at a time that way if u need to you ahve a complete one ot refrenece too. as far as jet jsut go ask your dealer or soemone on hear or go online and order some jet sizes. what all mods are you gonna have or do have? that will make a diffrence on what jets you need as well.

  14. i have a blaster as well and i have the full fmf system on there. i got the fatty header but i dont rememebr which silencer is on there. i also but some v3 reeds on there and a boost bottle. the reeds helped out tremendously but im not so sure the bottle did anything. holla if you have any more questions

thats a pic of me on one of my many wrecks with it in my sig

  15. welcome to the HQ! my buddy has a Z and i have a Shee so here is my 2 cents. if you want a shee go get it and sell your Z. if you are going though a stealership they might be able to do a trade in for you but since oyu owe you might not get much if anything. he was going to trade his in for a dirt bike and i think alls he was going to get was something close to the lower 2ks. you can set up a shee for trails and woods riding. you can adjust to riding a 2 stroke as well. i started off on ATCs and made the switch. it is a diffrence though. you have to keep it in the powerband. as was said there is not alot of power on the bottom but you can get more with an exhaust and even tons more with porting. one plus of having a 2 stroke is doing work on the motor. you dont have to wrooy about valve adjustments, timing if you rip the top end off and such. basically alls you do is take it apart and slap the new stuff together. yes its al lil more involved than that but its pretty easy. especially wiht all the help you can get on here. yes i am biased towards the shee but i think you might like it. the ownly downside is that everything cost twice as much for the most part on the banshee that other bikes since ther is 2 of them. you also have the ablilty to set it up easier for diffrent styles of riding if you want. for instance you siad you want to do trail riding i think, so you cna have it set up for that all the time. then if you want to go to the dunes or something you can swap out your top end and such, i beleive yall correct me if i am worng, along with a few other things to get the most out of it there. give me a pm if you need something.

  16. i owuld personally get them powdercoated. seems like it would be more durable that way. or an eays fix is to get some covers for them.
