have any of you guys or gals that oredered new cpi pipes had them come with to chrome already chiping off? i just got a set today and the left pipe has all these specs right near the begining of the pipe, where the chrome was chipping i tried to call them today and all i got was the ansering machine. im kinda bummed about it i really wanted to put them on this weekend. i wouldnt bug me to much but man them things aint cheap. oh well shit happens they should take care of it

well i dont know, you got me scared now. im gonna replace my clutch before the dune season, i might just try it out i got alot of john deere hygard. its a little thicker than ATF. but if you take a look at a tractors transmission. they got wet clutches and shit like that. the only problem i could see is maybe the seals are not the same material or something. i guess if it smokes some stuff ill let you give me the i told you so speech.

why whats wrong with it?

i usually run ATF. but am thinking of switching to hydraulic oil. just because i have 500 gallons next to my work bench. never had a problem with ATF

cool thanks man. i was just wondering how long do you guys get on a shock rebuild. i bought mine about 3 years ago. i thought they would of lasted a little longer than they did. although all i ride is sand, so i would imagine that plays hell on the shaft seals

i just have a fast question, is it possible to rebuild Works shocks, i work at a shop and we have compressed nitrogen. i noticed the other day that one of my shocks is leaking alittle bit. they want like 90 bucks to rebuild them.

i work at a john deere dealership as a mechanic. well for a couple more weeks. this fuckin economy has me pretty nervous.

ok so i was putting a new shift shaft in the banshee a while ago. i had the clutch out and i noticed if i grabbed the basket and the gear i could move each piece a little bit does this mean i need a whole new basket or is there some cushions i can get. Also so i had my banshee ported and stroked last winter. i had it ported for cpi pipes. (its got fmfs now) i also have a single carb. i need to get pipes and carbs but i dont know what to get first. any comments would be appreciated thanks Mike

hey guys i was just woundering how the voltage regulator grounds. does it ground through the case or is there somthing else? cuz i took my seat off the other day and it is just dangling there from the wire and the little bolt holes are broken off.

this winter im planing on getting a dune port and stroker crank and was wondering how long of a swingarm to get i dont want to look at the sky up at the dunes. also what size paddles would would be good thanks in advance

hey guys i want to send my cylinders to fast and have them ported soon, my first question is while i have the engine apart should i get the crank welded. (you guys got me scared about them braking) then if i should weld the crank is it a big task to split the cases (special tools needed?) i work at a john deere dealer so tools arnt a problem or can i just send the whole motor in and let them do it.
