Took it up to tolland,ma yesterday, and its boggin under full throttle, then it kicks when you let off, what do you recommend for jetting, I will start freshl -300-400 Elevation sometimes I goto mass too... So it changes.. *Toomey T3 w/ Hush Kit *Vforce 3 reeds *K&N Filter with pre filter *1/2 holes Ported lid no Snorkle *Mikuni 28's *Big Bore ( I beleive) *White Bro, Boost Bottle (I order a cross over tube) *Cool Head *Run 32:1 Dominator Amsoil on Super Unleaded What Needle, Pilot, Main, etc should I start with.

  6. Right now its at 35 pilot, when it was at 30 I had the low end bog, Now its at 35 2nd from top needle no low end bog, Idles down like its supposed to, but I have the 1/4 to 1/2 LOAD UP...
  7. just rode it, at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle has a gurgle then it kicks, should I lean the idle?

It could be 340(I looked at it a month ago, if I know I have one size up 350 that I was going to put in, but didn't so I figured it was 345), I now have the clip 2nd from top, changed the pilot to 35 from 30 and no more bog and revs and idle right back down like its supposed to, I got to check the mid and top end now, its raining rightnow, ill take it out in a bit...
  9. idle air is almost all the way in, need clipe 2nd from top, 1/4- 1/2 turn out on the air, runs like crap...

Hi, I have a 89 shee with toomey t3 pipes in to a hush kit, ported lid, no snorkle, mikuni 28 carbs ( i think after market), kn filter with pre filter,vforce 3, stupid white bro boost,cool head, I bought it used, the owner also bought it used said he think it has a big bore kit. Right now the middle clip, 30 pilot, 345 main, 200-390 ft dep on area i ride, but will be riding in mass some too...
  13. yea, I firgure pet cock, but I cleaned that it had a lot of dirt and metal shavings too on the screen, but it all clean now.
  14. Left Carb is getting good flow, right has the air pocket... could it be float?
  15. Hey guys, I have a air pocket that keeps comming back in my fuel line, any ideas, also I thinks its causing a low end bog
  16. I checked Toomies site, and they have pics to determine what kit you have, turns out its a T3 kit, am I better of rejetting for the stock kit, seems T5 is the cream of the crop. Also will this help with the bog?
  17. Thanks for the responces!Elvation is about 353 feet, It currently has the stock exhaust on it, how can I get a jet kit, any places you guys recommend? Is there a big advantage for me to put on the toomies? Like I said the neigborhood likes to call the cops on loud bikes, there is about 4-5 atv (familes) in the area and we all ride, and maybe I just getting old but comming from a blaster with a full bill's pipe system, the stock banshee exhaust sounds much better to me in my opinion...lol
  18. Hi, New Member here, seller recommended this site, Have been using the search feature, but can't really find and answer to my set up. Have an 1989 banshee, has a big bore, kn filter with lid with (1/2) inch holes drilled into the top, cool head, and had a tommey exhaust kit. The toomey came with a new jet was installed with the pipes, recently the exhaust was changed over to a stock system keeping eveything the same (jetting etc) It seems to be bogging, seller said I may have to rejet the bike, I want to keep the stock exhaust because of my neighorhood so the toomies are not an option. It has twin mikuni flat slide carbs on it and i tried to adjust the screw on the side to make it (idle) better I guess??? But its all messed up now, it starts but I have to feather the throttle for 20 secounds to keep it running (while choke is down.) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
