I have black rears coming in so the white has to go in about a week. I'm posting this on a few sites. Best offer takes them. These are off my 2001. No cracks or bends. Quad never crashed or rolled. Light scratches from average use. Warning labels have been drilled out. I just got this ride & only taken out twice. It was garaged for a few years before i got it. Here's some pix & can post more upon request. Thanks.
$45 ships heelguards w/plastic. No Cracks, That's dry mud you see. I removed these off my 2001 earlier this year. I never rode with them. I can post closeups if needed.
I'll also take a trade. I'm looking for Toomey Spark Arrestors & IMS Kick Up Pegs for my Banshee.
I read in another thread you asking for for these. How does $45 shipped sound to you? They're off my 2001 & removed them when i first got it this year. That's dry mud you see on them. No cracks. I can post close ups if you'd like.
I also thought Yamalube would be the practical choice. WRONG!!! It's very very smokey!! Too smokey. I now run Super M @ 32:1 & prob try Amsoil's next time.
You DMV registration sticker which is manditory in Cali. There's certain bikes/quads made green sticker which you can ride all year long. And there's Red Sticker quads where you can only ride during a certain season & think it's fall/winter season. Something like riding a Jetski in the winter. Makes no sense but maybe this law doesn't exist in your state?
Dawn has a degreaser in it and will break down the coats the more you use. Some use it on their cars as well, that's a NO NO!! Simple green and pressure wash will work fine.
The main concern when I was in the market was to make sure it was a green sticker.
I saw a couple Banshee's Glamisdunes.com classifieds a while back $3500 to $5000 with everything on em. I think this one sold.

Only the powdercoating can take on the offroad. Thicker, last longer. Krylon Ultra Flat Black with clear coats over it. Paint has no gloss, you'll get that black look you're lookin for. Would car undercoat work under the frame?
