  1. ok, i will do that, also i shoulda added that it will break on the intake side one time and then the next time it will break on the exhaust.
  2. i can try that but i am on a realy tight budget, so i might have to wait a wile, but they were also breaking in stock bore cylinders with pistons that came in it from the factory?
  3. OK, so i have had my banshee for about 8 months now and i keep breaking pistons skirts, for about the first 2 1/2 months it was fine, and then my top end went on the left cylinder but it didn't break the skirt and it was just one cylinder so i still had one fine piston. I then got a set of pistons off a buddy that were in perfect condition, and then my bottom end went one the left side. so then i bought a motor off ebay, it was almost complete but it was missing the trans gears and some bolts and shit but i had all that from my old motor, so i put the new cylinders, crank and pistons that were bored .040 in and it broke the skirt on the left cylinder, so i put my old cylinders on with the old pistons and it broke one skirt in the right cylinder, then it broke the skirt on the left cylinder. for the winter i decided to take it apart and paint some stuff so i did and then bought some pistons for the bored cylinders, and i also bought a 2 into 1 intake trying to elaminate leaning of one cylinder, so everything was fine for about a month and then the left skirt broke agin, over all i have 5 or 6 broken pistons so i am fed up with it and i am not going to try fixing it untill i find out the problem, sorry for the long post and thank you for your help
  4. Thanks for the help guys, sounds like i am going to like the single carb.
  5. Ok, so i just bought a trinity 2 into 1 intake with a 38mm mikuni carb, my question is will i lose any top end power. cuz i have heard that it gives great on the low end and smooths out the powerband, but i dont wanna lose any power, it said that it increase's the top end 15% on trinity website and thats great, but i just wanted to check with you guys and make sure. My banshee has LRD pipes 12 port, advanced timming, bosen reeds and a shaved head.
  6. i found that picture on ebay and it is from a 250r, so the one on your banshee is probley mounted right
  7. looking at pictures of them the denton goes right threw and the Pep just comes out one side like a shock.
  8. i am going to buy one in the next couple days and what is the difference between the Pep and Denton, what one do you guys like better?
  9. i got the tor's removed a long time ago, i got my carb off agin and i will check the pliot jet, thanks for you help.
  10. ok, i have checked the flywheel, i have changed the reeds, taken the carb apart and cleaned it even tho everything looked clean, i got uni pod filters on and i just recently cleaned them, i have swaped the coil wires and changed the plugs a couple times, i have lots of compression and even taken the head off to inspect it. In reply to Tim C's post i have checked to make sure it is sparking at the right time, what i did is stuck a pencil threw the spark plug hole and turned it over realy slow, then when the piston was just about at the top i would give it a short quick kick and it would spark right away this problem is realy bothering me, thanks for all you help so far and any sugestions is realy helpfull. i ment to put this as a reply, could a moderator please deleat this topic!

  12. I got a problem with my right cylinder. The left cylinder is fine, runs like a champ, but the right cylinder wont run at all, it has a bright spark, and is geting plenty of fuel, also i changed the reeds and the cage to start trouble shooting, but it's a no go. it started when i was out on a ride then all of a sudden it started to bog and the right cylinder wasn't running very good, so i changed the plug and it didn't make a difference, it had plenty of compression but i took the head off anyway to check it out, everything look realy good so i put it back together and it still ran like shit, please help, i realy wanna go riding!
  13. ok, so my buddy is selling almost a hole motor, it is missing a couple things such as a couple gears for the tranny and a clutch as well, but i got all the good parts it needs, he says it has jetski pistons and they worked without a spacerplate, so i am not sure, i will ask a couple more questions to try and figur it out
  14. i am going to run a stock head that has been shaved. Instead of a spacer plate, am i able to put a couple extra head and base gaskets on?
  15. thank you for your answer, i am going to buy the 4mm 110mm crank, but i have a couple questions about the spacer plate? what does it do, and what will happen if i try running it without one?
