  1. Do you have a frame? I know it is not listed but that stuff had to come off of something!

     

     

    i have a frame that i was going to build a diff sub frame for but i lost interest. i cut the original sub frame off and thats as far as i got. i would let that one go for 150. i also have a frame in good shape with a clear title. i was gonna build on that one but i will let it go for 375. i wont let it go for less than that cuz i would rather keep if i dont get at least that much.

  2. CHASSIS PARTS

    lonestar +2 +1 chrome a arms- $350

     

    +4 swingarm stock style carrier-$180

    stock rear shock revalved by pep for 180 pound rider-$85

     

    ENGINE PARTS

    stock cylinders that were ported by d&m racing here in phoenix. it is a full drag portand ported for a lond rod crank. no booster but the transfers are huge. these cylinders made 66 hp on d&m's dyno last month. it was on methanol and running t-5s-$400 (comes with wiseco prolites)

     

    stock stroke long rod crank. hot rod connecting rods, tz bearing, maxload bearing, completely welded by metal tech and was only a half a thousandth out when it was checked-$250

     

    pro design coolhead with 19cc domes-$165

     

    1-5 override tranny cut by metal tech-$275

     

    all the prices are plus shipping. if you want anything polished add 10 bucks and a few extra days and it will get to you all shiny and purty. please let me know if you had dibs on something from my guaging interest post and i will look through my pms. i have kind of lost track of who wants what. if you need any pics of whatever you are interested in just send me your email and ill get them sent over.

  3. I may be interested in the sylinders what bore are they on and do the pistons come with them? will they work with a 4mill stroke 5mill long rod? If you need a +4 roundhouseing swinger with carrier and chain let me know.

     

     

    the cylinders are at 66mm. the pistons come with them and there is hardly any time on it since i built it. they wont work with the 4 mm stroker unless they are port timed for it. they are made for a stock stroke long rod crank.

  4. i have a nice bike i was gonna turn into my asphalt dragger but now i have decided to just sell it and start from scratch. need to get some interest in it though before i actually follow through.

     

    here are some parts off the top of my head.

    if youre interested in the complete engine then make me an offer. it would come with everything except the intake and carbs and pipes-open to offers

     

     

    my goal over the next year is to build my dream of an asphalt dragger. if you need any of these parts and have something to trade just let me know. im open to all offers and all trades for any of this stuff so run it by me if you have an idea.i wont part out if i dont get enough interest but just let me know what you need im sure we could work something out.

  5. i am getting to the point where my clutch and tranny are really irritating when i shift down the track. i have a 1-5 override from metal tech and would really like to put it in my 1/4 mile asphalt bike. is running that tranny on asphaly gonna break it easily? i know how to use an override and have used them in my sand bikes. i have never used or known anyone to use them on asphalt and im just afraid of it breaking the dogs off the gears. any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated before i tear the cases apart and drop it it.

  6. It's generally not recommended, but people do run alky and nitrous together. I have no personal experience with it, only what I have read. "They" say that its very difficult to jet it correctly running both. Some say its almost impossible to get it right.

     

    You could always try nitromethane..

     

    Either way, I'd definitely do some reading on this before trying. Probably have to go to Planet Sand to get the info you need.

     

     

     

    i have run alcohol and nitrous n my old 10 mill cub and i got it to run great. im really just wondering if this mild of a motor will hold together with it.

  7. i recently got my dune motor put back together. its a stock stroke long rod motor with stock cylinders that i did a heavy transfer job on. the motor runs great on pump gas but i have recently been running it at the asphalt drags. im getting bored with the contant 13 second 1/4 mile passes and i think im just gonna go all out with it. im for sure putting my alcohol back on it and slammin the override back in. i would really like to even put my bottle on it. im not really concerned if it blows up but i would at least like it to last for 10 or 15 passes on the bottle. anyone have any concerns with this setup on alcohol and the bottle. just an fyi this motor is built very well. the crank is perfect with tz and maxload bearings. i always run wiseco and the port timing is right where it needs to be. 187 psi in both cylinders.

  8. i went to the track for the first time last night with my banshee to run the 1/4 mile. i ran 6 passes and only had one clean run when the bike went through all the gears smoothly and i really took my time with those shifts. for some reason every time i tried to shift at high rpm it wouldnt click up. im wondering if its just a clutch but i havent really looked into it. what do you guys think?

  9. try going up a couple sizes on the pitot, and what are your mods

     

    370 STOCK STROKE CRANK, WISECO 64.75 PROLITES, TOOMEY T-5S, MILD PORT STOCK CYLINDERS, SHAVED HEAD WITH ABOUT .65 SQUISH. VF3S, BILLET INTAKE BY D&M RACING, 36MM PJS, K&N PODS. I ORIGINALLY STARTED OUT WITH A 65 PILOT TO BE EXTRA SAFE AND HAVE MADE MY WAY DOWN TO A 45 WITH 2 SIZE INCRAMENTS

  10. just got my mild port 370 done and got it in the bike. first of all it is hard to get started sometimes and other times it will fire right up. once i get it started it runs like a champ and the plugs look perfect but only if i keep it running with my thumb on the throttle. when i try to let it idle to break it in it will idle for about 30 seconds and die then it is a pain to get running again. i have no idea what it is at this point. i checked the spark and it has good spark every time i check it. just be be safe i swapped the coil and that didnt help then i swapped the stator and checked all the wiring and filed all the grounding points for the wiring so they were on bare metal. i still have no luck. does anyone have any ideas. im lost!!!!

  11. i dont have time to get my new crank to the shop and get it welded before my trip. my friend is a certified welder and i know he will do a good job. anything specail need to be done after? any kind of balancing? let me know asap if you have any input

  12. i need some american racer tires for my asphalt project. i need 20 or 21 inch tires in a 9 or 10 inch rim. if you have some good used ones or know where i can get some new one for a good price pleas let me know.

  13. thanks for the replies. i want to buy those drag lites but i just had to scrape up 300 for some pistons and cylinder work so i can get my engine put together. now i need to maybe find some stockers someone has laying around. let me know if you have some for cheap. haha i need to get this thing out to the track and im not sure how plus 3 j arms are gonna do down an asphalt track.lol
