  1. I'd go with wiseco's prolites. they're a forged piston which will allow your bike to rev a little easier as opposed to a cast piston which weighs more. Just don't exceed 1100 degrees or you'll melt her down.
  2. from what my builder has told me, between .040 and .045 squish is usually the best spot. i'm running .035 squish in mine, but i drag only with 110 and nitro.
  3. what cc will my bike be with 64.5mm 795 pistons and a 4mil + 5mm longrod?
  4. i have a 14 front i could try, i just put the stock swingarm back on and fabbed up a wheelie bar for it. now its a bad sob if i can get it off the line
  5. it has a spacer, 4mil & 5 longrod, stroker pistons, deck height .042, ports are perfect, 22 tires, 15/41 gears, taking off in second, and no it didn't do it before, but it didn't pull near as hard as it does now if i can get off the line
  6. i was just thinking, i had my timing plate at 4 degrees before the crank install. should i advance it or just leave it?
  7. does anyone have a problem with they're 4mil falling on its face off the line? i just got the motor back and for some reason, its bogs off the line alot. but when it finally opens up, it runs like a bat out of hell. i dont know what it could be. does anyone know what the problem could be?
  8. actually it kinda does act that way. it revs up at idle though, but it wont rev when you ride it. and it seems like the left cylinder isnt firing all the time
  9. well the pistons already came in, but i am going to get the cut domes instead of the stroker plate. does anyone know where i can order a set?
  10. here's the crank: http://www.hotrodsproducts.com/index.cfm?f...p;productid=121 here's the pistons: http://www.hotrodsproducts.com/index.cfm?f...p;productid=128 here's the stroker plate: http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/...=200&page=1 now hotrods makes a stroker gasket kit for this crank, but its for an oem head and i have a cool head. so what i think is that the gasket kit acts just like the stroker plate so it should work, right?
  11. well i got the plate from vito's and they said it was for a 4mm crank, and hotrods said that the pistons were for a longrod stroker so i didn't know.
  12. my banshee is acting up and i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what the problem was. the bike will start fine idle fine, but when i rev it, it acts like it dont want to rev up. then when you take off on it, it wont hit the powerband. and i've changed the stator, the coil, the cdi, the plugs, the fuel, cleaned the carbs, changed the reeds. for some reason it still does it. i thought maybe it was the head gasket. what to you think?
  13. i just got a 4mil +5mm long rod crank and i was wondering what all i needed to put it in? i have a 4mm stroker plate and just ordered some stroker pistons. is that all i need?
