You can have any frame, motor mod ect, that you want just no nos you can shut it off and then run it in the outlaw.
-
The Dead End Racing Crew will be there along with alot of friends and family members. We are still taking our drag lights and as long as we get some cooperation we will take them out and play a little. But they are very expensive and if people get stupid we will put them up and continue our weekend of fun.

Ya know, we started this all for fun and for people to be able to ride and compete in an friendly environment. And we do accept all opions or suggestions, but we built these classes based on the majority of the bikes last year and what we thought would give everyone a a shot at being competitive. We have taken the few comments into review for next year. But a couple people want to keep dragging it on and on, I could see it as a big deal if we were racing for big money at a big venue but this is more or less for fun right now and we sure aren't getting rich or getting to enjoy ourselves alot at the events, they are a lot of work. Doing this type of thing I know we are going to catch some critisism from time to time I just hope most people will be able to see what we are really trying to do for quad lovers in the area and the entire sport in general. We are not out trying to fix races or prove ourselves as badass race promoters just people who love to ride and had nowhere around here to do this type of competition so decided to put them on ourselves and invite everyone along for the ride.

are you gonna make one this season
-
Yeah there is some fuss but its all good, things are off to a pretty good start. We disscussed the classes for quite some time before we posted them and they are waht we will go by this season. There was some comments about we should not try to cater to everyone, but with our size we have to try and accomodate all. We are putting on both the shodeo and the drags at the same time and alot of people are trying to ride the same bike in both events. If things go well and get bigger than we can put the 2 different events on, on seperate dates and cater soley for drag racing at one and the shodeo the other. We will just have to see how things go. As soon as the new date is set Ill send ya one hope to see ya down at one of these
-
But what is the difference between them putting in a 4mill crank or me putting a cub on mine???? Either way you look at it you have to draw the line somewhere and they were set this year by the whold Dead end racing staff. By you saying that " I " set the classes in my favor makes me feel like you are calling me a cheater! By setting them that way opened up the class for a lot more faster bikes than mine and if they would all show up at the same time I would not stand a chance.
-
That right there is the kind of response we are looking for and hope to produce. Things will grow, and only get bigger and better. Look for the new flyer post most likely on monday or tuesday, will have dates as soon as we can get them all booked with the city

Thaks, We have never claimed to be pros or hotshots, just trying to provide an outlet for our fellow quaders that is not found really anywhere close to our home town or really in the 4 state area. Something we can all look forward to every month and have a good time.
-
Well we will just have to see how the season goes, all suggestions will be heard and thought over and if changes are needed for next year than they will be made. Our main concern is that everyone comes out and has a great time with great people who all share the love of ridding quads. This subject will always be a debate so we will just have to take it as it comes. Thanks to you for coming out and being a sponsor

The nmotion bike was in both. Your bike would be classed in the 401cc plus modified.
-
Well we do have two classes for the 401 cc and up 4strokes the stock class which can have no more than pipes, jets, and filter. Than there is the modified, we did this to try and break it up because there is quite a bit of difference between a stock bike or even one with pipe and jets, and one with all the cam mods pistons, and head work. All we have been doing is try to be as fair as possible but it is hard to do without breaking them up so much there is only two or 3 bikes in each class. From talking to several people it seems that is what we would have to do to make everyone happy, and I guarantee someone would still not like it. I see the point on the banshees but look at the bike that one the super modified it was almost a true stock bike except for port work, hell it even has the toros on it on the stock carbs. We jsut tried to keep things true to the class names. There are many variables and opinions to look at for drag racing. In my true opinion drag racing is drag racing the biggest wallet wins and we could just run 2 stroke vs 2 stroke and 4 stroke vs 4 stroke. The biggest issue we are dealing with is that we do not have 200 or 300 bike showing up to these things yet, we have guys dragracing and then changing tires and running the same bike in the shodeo. We are hoping the drags will keep getting bigger and bigger and then we can run them more professionally but right now we have to try and cater to pros and farmers and everyone inbetween. This is jsut our second season and we started from absolute ground zero last summer, but with the support of our contestants, spectators, and great sponsors things will get bigger and better every event. Thanks for the input we do take all of it into concideration. We changed the classes several times last season trying to iron things out. What they are set at now is what they will be all season, we don't want to be changing all season again because people wont know what to expect each time they show up

401cc plus stock and 401cc plus modified. You can have no more than pipe and jets to be able to run in the stock class. N motions badass 4 stroke was there but Andy Meeks bike with M&M atv took home 1st in the outlaw
-
Well I did not come home empty handed, I took 3rd in the super stock drags. Metric master did woop me in the 2 stroke water shodeo, but I beat him in the outlaw class but still no trophies in our hands for that event. Thanks to all who came and if you missed this one we will have another in april, so be looking for that post. www.deadendracing.com to be in full swing soon it is up though
