  10. anybody from hq gonna try to make it
  11. We have a shodeo Sat. July 21st in Ft. Scott Kansas it will be at there fair grounds which are located across from the college. Gates will open around 3:00pm and we will register up untill 5:00pm or so and then start the show. We attended one there last year that was thrown together and there were a ton of locals show, 45 4 strokes alone and the competition was tough should make for a great show gate: $3 regular classes $10 Outlaw $15 1st 2nd 3rd palce trophies pretty much the same as usual If time allows we may have some fun drags but definately no place for big drag quads. Could probably only run about 200ft but do not hold us to this because like i said it will be based on time, interest, and us surveying the conditions for safety.
  12. Well it looks as of right now that all our shows scheduled for the coffeyville arena are off for now. The arena was under 10ft or more of water, and now the water is gone and everything is oil soaked. The E.P.A. is here and there is still no idea when they will clear the eastside. Be sure to check http://deadendracing.proboards102.com for info. I actually went out to liberty tonite (just about 10 mi north of coffeyville) and scoped some land that is owned by a great friend of Dead End Racings Joe Hales' and we are in the works on trying to prep it for drags. There is some work to be done and things to iron out but it is definatley a possibility, I know one thing there is more and safer shutdown room. Will post on this as soon as we get things together. We will be having a shodeo July 21st in Fort Scott ks look for that post here and at our site. Thnks to all this is all a huge mess here in town and has slowed us down a little put the city and dead end racing will keep going. Big thanks to all are supporters and sponsers you are what keep us going.
  13. Yep that probably was metricmaster, everyone was out all night helping get friends, family, and even strangers to higher ground. It is a sad sad sight here in daville. The Fairgrounds and the rec which is in the park right there where completley submerged. Water was as deep as at least 15 to 20ft along the highway there. The river crested at just over 30 ft, an all new city record, and the levee only goes to 26.5ft so the river did break the levee. Along with all this due to chemical leekage from the refinary the water is contamintaed and you can go no where near it. Will have more info later i am beat
  14. Well sorry folks but due to the immense amount of rain received last night and all the way up untill about 6 this morning we have to call off the races. The entire shutdown area is under at leaast 1ft to 2ft of water, if it wasnt for that we could of made it work. We will be having another event july 15th
  15. We are still planning on having the races this saturday so come on down
  16. New news the old backstop is gone, it has been removed and flatenend out no more worries there. So to recap the drag lights are working fully, and the backstop is gone. I am still trying to get with a guy about a tiller for the dirt, and we will have the exit leveled out. so who all is going to make it down
  17. As of right now the lights are working fully, start lights, timers, win lights and false start as well. We called the manufacturer and isolated the problem it was the on off switches he told us how to rigg them to make them work for the 30th and we have new switches on the way. Should have a load of dirt on the way to smooth all the shutdown out, just been having to work around the city and fairboard, good ol politics ya know. I am calling a guy tommorow who has a new bobcat with a tiller attachment and trying to get him there to till up the dirt for us that should improve the traction tremendously and make it a little safer, no more squirly sideways passes. I hope you all can make it down.
  18. Well it was a little rough last sunday but all in all went well, we are trying to get some stuff done for the 30th to make the drags better. Everyone has to keep in mind we only rent that place and have to work with the city as far as what we can do out there. We should definately have some dirt brought in to smooth out the exit, and I am in the middle of working out something about the old backstop. We offered 3 months ago to take it out since it was useless and hampering our event and taking up parking space for the fair, they agreed but said they would take it out but i guess that fell through so I am calling again this week. The lights are very bright both in the arena and parking lot so no prob there. Our start lights and timers are being worked on as dustin said and should be up and going. It should shape up to be a great night of fun and fast quads. CCCCyaaa there
  19. Well from what we hear, there is no shodeo at oswego but we have been asked to put on a shodeo and drags for Fort Scott on July 21st should start around 4 or 5 will have more info at our site b4 long http://deadendracing.proboards102.com Hope you can make it.
  20. Well I can see where you would think what i said refered only to those who reside in coffeyvilles, but when i say locals I am refering to those who live right here in this area and are at every show, nowata is only 15 to 20 min from cville. I was putting out an invite for all these big bikes around to come to our little corner of the world and see what they got is all. Sorry you took it the wrong way have a nice day

  23. Man is no one brave enough to battle the local cville boys, ya know we have not had anyone win our outlaw class that wasn't a local, nmotion even tried and could not. Our best times on our track so far have been 4.5s on a loose track.
  24. NO one out there have one or know where one is, well it was worth a try
