  1. The answer is YES . If the plating is gone, it needs to stripped and replated. Theres a place in Fon Du Lac Wisconsin called US Chrome, they do a fantastic job of replating. They can fix a cyl even if its damaged. They can weld it, rebore it, replate it, and diamond hone it. I send them ALL my cyl work.
  2. Weve been riding the ice for over a month now but theres only a few more weeks left before it starts getting dicey again. Check out the link in my sig to hook up with riders/racers in Illinois
  3. I run a raptor with a little over 200 HP and I use a 26inch realtor in dirt. BUT like was mentioned before. I m not sure that size is still available. I see your from the Chi-town area, I'm just north of you. You ever drive across the Wisc boarder and go to the MonkeyButt ATV races? You ever think about putting some Carbide picks in a set of tires and heading up To the Fox lake area to rides the lakes? Its legal you know. Believe it or not , you can make that thing Hook on the ice!! QB
  4. Theres a website that has listings of ATV Drag races for wisconsin.ATV HorsePower Junkies
  5. The Rappy took 1rst in the open unlimited class and the DS with the 7500 took 2nd
  6. Cut Holeshots or Razors work well in the dirt/grass on bike running less than 100 hp. I run 26" Realtors on my bike but ....... I would only recomend them for high HP machines (over 100hp) because they are a HEAVY tire and they are very hard to find now that they are out of production. 4 snows work well in hard pack dirt but realls suck on grass.
  7. Hey 2smoke, you guys coming up to the MonkeyButt event in Janesville next week? If so , stop by and say HI. I'll be the guy with the GSXR1000cc turbo Rappy sitting in my trailer. Had fun at polo last week but that may be the last time we race there. They really need to groom that track or maybe even MOVE it to another spot to increase the shut down area. The shut down area is so short I had to take the path through the trees and into a parking area a few times. QuadBart
