One of my stay mounts doesn't line up with the threads and it started to strip. Can I just remove these two underneath mounts? Isn't it just for anti-vibration?
Napa carries the adhesion promotor and the chrome And the Metal Cast.
This paint is designed to be sprayed on a shiney metallic surface so you must use promoter then mexi chrome as a base coat. Then 3-4 very light coats of color. Let it dry for. A few days then hit it with clear.
just make sure you take your time and tape/prep well or it wont turn out right
you can do it. I bought these old 35s and completely stripped and rebuilt everything. Had the cap and bowls polished and then used Duplicolor Metal Cast green on top of adhesion promotor and chrome. In my florecent light garage it looks dull but in the sun it has the pop of translucent. With clearcoat over the top it should hold up pretty well.
Redline is currently cutting mine as a N down, 1st, 2-5 override. That way I can still dune or play in trees in 1st and 2nd and still have the override
My brake pedal rubs on my lockout so I tried adjusting the plunger but it moves the pedal too far down. Now I cant get a good firm pedal, its squishy not to mention out of comfortable reach.
Im thinking i might try to bend the pedal around the peg and then out but the pedals chrome so worried it might crack.
Whose had this issue...
need a set of stock location lights. if the chrome is peeling thats ok, im going to Powdercoat them. If the bulbs are missing or burned, thats ok Im going to replace them with LEDs. Just make sure the full unit has wiring and a lens cover.
I ran pro design individuals with my IIs on my old bike. I just acquired some Trinity stage IVs and they mate up rather nicely to my IIs.
There's a cat on fleabay that sells billet intakes and he claims they are made for IIs.
This is my arm and I have been very pleased with Chris and his efforts. I had some requests like pulling the top tubes together and he was more then willing. He came back and said he fabed up some custom V mounts for the top but awaited my approval before installing. As you can tell its off the hook and he has done a great job. I will post some pictures when I get it from the chromer.
