  1. My Banshee won't run either and it has no spark. I am at my wits. Thre is no way of testing the CDI. The coil and stator can be tested. The best thing to do is buy a Clymer banshee repair manual. Also, before you start replacing expensive electrical parts, see if you can borrow the parts from a friends Banshee. They are simple to remove/replace. In any case, there are a million tests that can be performed, so buy the repair manual.
  2. Yes, you remove the nut first. I would think that 240lbs would be plenty. Is there a setting on the impact gun? If there is, make sure it is on the maximum. Also try spraying some liquid wrench or wd40 on the threads and let it penetrate for a while. Hope it helps.
  3. The extra wire is probably for an extra set of lights. That is how my old stator was set up also. As far as having spark on one side, try removing the coil end cap from the non-sparking side by unsrewing it and hold the end to a ground (a cylinder head nut) and see if there is spark. If there is spark, you need to replace that cap. Hope it works out and keep us posted.
