  1. Well I hate to do it, but with a recently purchased raptor 700 and a new Harley I have to get rid of some old toys to make room for the new ones. I have an extremely clean, adult owned and ridden 2001 Banshee for sale. This quad is setup for woods riding and is insanely fast and powerful. It has a chrome MotoFast 2 into 1 pipe and silencer (it sounds like and Indy car). Boysen fiberglass reeds, Ported and polished head. Bored .030" over with Wiesco forged pistons. Vito's Hot Rod balanced crank. .010" shaved head. All new bearings and oil seals. The engine is completely fresh with only 10hrs on it since the last rebuild. Also has AC nerf bars, and bumpers. New Holeshot HD tires, ITP aluminum rims. I have all the stock parts that have been removed. Has a ONE graphics kit and seat cover. Renthal bars, Oury grips. All new cables on EBC brake pads on last rebuild. This bike has been the most reliable quad I have ever owned. It is unstoppable in the woods and nothing but another banshee will out run it on a straight away. I hate to see it go. I have had this bike since 2003 and have babied it ever since. I have invested alot of money, blood sweat and tears into this bike and I know I will never recoup that back. I'm asking a very realistic price. Shee's no super model, but shee's not beat down either. Sorry I cannot deliver, pick up only, no shipping. Cash only in full, no checks or money orders. No trades. Bike is located in Bolivar, Ohio, just south of Canton. ASKING $2,000 OBO. Email me at dritchey79@yahoo.com my name is Dan Email me for pics, I haven't been on BHQ in awhile and it won't let me post them.
  2. I'm looking for a new or lightly used aftermarket banshee bumper. My AC suffered a fatal collision with a tree while in 3rd gear in the air. snapped the arms clean off it. Anyways the ones on ebay are either the gay blingstar cross or even worse the "Jaws" :geek: and they are all ridiculously priced well over $60 plus shipping. Can anyone help me out? I'd apreciate it! I have paypal so send me a pic and I'll send money.
  3. The difference between the 04 and 05 shocks vs the 06 and 07 shocks is that the 06 and 07 have one more coil on the spring than the 04 and 05's do. That could be why some of you are experiencing a stiffer shock than others. The other huge difference in results is most likely due to wieght of rider/bike/tires/etc. and of course proper tuning of the shocks. All I know is that before the 450 shocks were installed I would hit the 75ft table top in my yard and clear about 50 ft and bottom out my dual rate works valved for a 200lb rider. Now I can clear the 75ft table and not bottom out the 450 shocks. It just took some tweaking of the adjustments. As for all the whining about grinding the shocks or the mounts and a-arms, you're better off grinding the a-arms and not the shocks, that way if you sell the shee you can swap out the shocks and have a pair of unmolested 450 shocks for you next ride or to just ebay.
  4. Believe it or not ... automatic tansmission fluid for cars is one of the best things to use. It's penetrating oils soak into the plastic and make it shine. And no it doesn't leave them greasy feeling, they dry after a few minutes in the sun. It will hide all those ugly scratches too. This is what 95% of the bike shops use when the put a used bike or quad for sale on their showroom floor. Sneaky bastards! :ninja: That's how I found out about it and have been doing it for years ever since. But like all other products I have found, it comes off and has to be reapplied after a hard day of riding.
  5. Got the skid plate on monday, exactly as described and all the hardware was there. Really fast shipping too. Thanks a bunch bro!
  6. Josh, just sent you the PayPal for the full frame skid plate. Can't wait to get it on. Thanks again Bro! -Dan
  7. No thanks, I have the stock metal heel plates. I want the plastic heel guards or aftermarket metal heel guards to replace the plastic ones. The have to roll up and connect to the rear fenders to keep my foot from getting caught between the rear tire and the AC nerf bars.
  8. Looking for anyones stock plastic heel guards that bolt to the metal heel rest and to the rear fender. I would rather have a set of aluminum or steel aftermarket ones but the stock ones will work fine too. PM me.
