Hey Everyone, It's that time for me to part with my banshee. I took good care of this and have done alot of maintenence just in the past 6 months. It's a 1987, I just purchased new plastic off of a 1999 shee that looks great with very little scratches on it. I recently bought new handlebars for it, replaced a couple of leaky seals, purchased a new factory bumper, the pic doesnt have the bumper on it. It has a twist throttle, and the motor was rebuilt with factory parts less than a year ago and it runs like new. The motor is very fresh, only has about 25 hours on it. The only thing that it needs is to get the seat recovered. I am asking $1600 OBO for it. I need to sell due to lack of time and the purchase of a new car, need the money. I have some ok pics of it below, I tried to post more but I dont have access to post anymore. If you would like additional pics please let me know. I'm having that same problem, I have an 87 banshee. Right where the shift lever goes into the trans. Do I need the new stator cover? How difficult is that to change?

I have a complete set of Red Plastic that came off of a 87 banshee, it's an older style of Maier Plastic. A decent crack on the front plastic in front of the radiator. A little bent on the back left, overall its in ok shape, great for a woods machine that you dont care if it gets scratched or nicked up. It will come with everything, front fenders, rear fenders, gas tank shroud, and radiator grill.. Make me an offer

I was cleaning up my banshee today, and I noticed that I have a very small leak coming from where the shifter goes into the transmission. What does this mean or what do I need to replace?

Anyone have a Black Banshee seat that is in good shape that they are willing to sell?

Thanks, I thought I heard somewhere that the older banshees had thinner seats but I figured it would fit anyway. Maybe I misheard too, Thanks for your help. Now I just need to find one to buy. lol
