I ran one of these a few years back, I snapped it where the shock/dog bone mount up- I was on a riding trip in West Virginia and thankfully a local was kind enough to weld it up for me unless the trip would have been a bust- Now, can this happen with a roundhouse aftermarket swinger, absolutely but you hear more stories about these than anything else!! The stock style chain adjustments sucks balls, either be patient and wait to score on a used roundhouse bc they do come up- I actually just sold one on here a few weeks ago or save up and buy new you'll be happy you did so!! This was the result of some back yard meat head engine builder from Brooklyn NY building my first 4mil before i went out to glamis for the first time-doubling up on base gaskets not checking his work and than bing bang boom- 2nd day into my dream dune trip and i was like fuck this- went to the dealership in town and bought a brand new 450 off the show room floor and in 2hrs it was delivered to gecko road- Aint no body got time for these wanna be engine builders that fuck shit up and wont stand behind there work.. Whats the name/location of your shop?? Did you perform a leak down and check compression before releasing it back to the customer?? Probably should have went ahead and confirmed what caused it to pop the first time before letting the customer drop all this coin This happened to me a few years ago, it was caused by a massive air leak.
