Hey guys, I just moved to CA last september and recently got my shee transported out here from NJ for $900. Problem! I don't have truck to get out to go riding! Looking for some people to travel with that live close to Santa Monica area. The longer it sits in my garage the more I keep modifying it which is not bad but its better to get out! Anyone live nearby and have space for a random banshee rider to tag along?

Just how does advancing or retarding your timing give you more power? I heard that this makes it hard to start sometimes? I found one on e-bay for $35. Good price? Also does anyonehave any feedback on the Powernow intake valves?

right now it needs lower mains. they were changed last winter for lake riding in PA. When I hit 't the throttle it bogs out . I have never chaznged the needle clip position though. I don't have the opportunity to take it out for a drive to do a spark plug check. Is there another way to adjust the carbs?

The guy before me changed the mains but I don't think he changed anything else. The needles look the same..

sorry forgot to add the vforce reeds! not the 3s though. What about the jet kit?

Hey all, thanks for the help with the mysterious part found in my crank case!! I have my quad sitting in my garage waiting to get a police officer to do an on site VIN verification since I don't have a way to get it to the DMV to register it.... While its kinda under construction and I have some time before I take it riding, I wanted some opinions on what mods to get next. I was thinking about a dyna jet kit or cool head?? but I think I mught be missing some smaller mods???

Ok, Well after taking off the clutch rings, I saw the huge nut I needed to remove to get the basket off!! Not having a tool to do this I waited. I actually got the pin back in and tightened the philips screw without having to remove the clutch!! Anybody have an idea why the screw would come loose? I am almost sure the guy who owned it before me did not touch anything in the crank case!!

You said remove the clutch. Is this going to be hard?

It is definately not the pin dowel from the water pump. It is smaller. If it was a roller berring, where exactly would I look to confirm that?

Its not the pin from the pump shaft. That pin was still in its place inside thhe gear. Its from somewhere else????

No it is not the pin from the gear. here is another shot. I'm going to have to pick this one up when I get back. Thanks for the help. Got a widespread panic show to go to in LA. Thanks guys!

Hey guys, I was changing my water pump when a bar fell out of the outer crank case. It is not the one that make the pump spin with the gear. it is about a third smaller.. any help would be appreciated.

I don't have a book yet but want to change my impeller to a high flow, only I took a look at it and couldn't figure how to get it out.

I don't have spark arrestors or the money to buy new pipes. any good places to go where I don't need them? I don't have pattles so the dessert won't work. I was hoping for some trail riding. OK I found an FMF spark arrestor cap. Anyone tried to mount this on pro circuit silencers?

Cananyone walk me thru this? I am very familiar with the carbs but have not seen anyadjustment on the floats. do i have to bend?
