Lol Dave, Its no secret. I dont tune at riding events. I tune on random weekends in the dunes. When good friends are around its all about having fun and hanging out, shooting the shit till early hours.

I'm very neutral here.. But.. in all honesty.. People have drove 2000+ miles the last 2yrs. Time to put the bike on a trailer and make a road trip. All this drama is killing the HQ ride IMO and its not what the HQ ride was/is intended for. Its supposed to be a fun event. I refuse to spend all my time tuning a bike while I'm on vacation.. If someone wants to take credit for beating on my DM... Have at it.. People who saw my bike at the HQ ride know that not one wrench was put to my bike, No jetting, gearing or tire swaping was done.. hell.. I didn't even look at my plugs until it was done for the weekend. I'm there to ride and have fun with friends I only see once a year.

Josh, I'd put up with your stuipid questions.. . its just gonna cost you more in fuel!!! lol

I'd take the axle and clutch cover if it was about 2 months from now.. Deals always come through around christmas when I'm broke! lol TTT for some awesome deals on great parts!

Family trip here too. My boys love watching the racing.

Got 3 good Uniroyal HD tires 235x85R16 Load E (10ply) that I took off my 5th wheel to put on a fresh set for the Little Sahara Trip. I was going to haul quite a bit more weight then I normally haul to Oklahoma so I went with a stronger tire. $200 for the 3. I also got a cooper discoverer in a load E that I'll throw in.. As of now... Assuming LT weekend is 20th.. We'll push the date back one week and set the Silver lake HQ ride for the weekend of the 27th.

I didn't think it was bad last year. but less traffic the better.

Maybe Jeremy and Lindz can let us know when that is and we can adjust the date a week if needed.

I typically set a date 2 weeks after the 4th of july. depending where the holiday falls. It gives the guys a lil break from the holiday weekend. This year will be July 20th.

who said I was putting snipers on my DM? I'm still looking over my options for my DM that wont require huge changes to my porting and setup. There is some stuff that might work for me in the near future. Even after I sold mine.. I'd still have to come up with another $350+ for pipes. Can't afford that right now, started other projects. I'm building 3 motors right now and NONE of them will be using shearer. In all honesty.. I could LOOSE 15hp and I'd still be happier with what ever pipe I end up with then I am what I got. Seems a common misconception is that I'm "pro sniper" I would run trinity pipes over shearer. At least Trinity tries to make it right with the customer.

Can't afford another set of pipes right now. I already payed 750 for a new set of pipes.. Buy me a new set and I'll take these clunkers off. Just because I use them.. dontt mean I like them. I've never had breaking or mount issues...

i know... but its not possible for anything other than shearers to be fast...
