I looked at my pistons and one of them has some grooves on the side of it will this cause my banshee to backfire?IT wont even go 5mph. whats the deal?

I have 2 28mm flatside mikuni carbs that im wanting to trade for some stock carbs with tors eliminator. Also have some race ported cylinders for sale bored .20 over

I rebuilt my 2000 banshee and it ran fine for about 3 weeks and one day i was riding it and it started backfiring and sputtering and would only go about 5 mph. I had a air leak in one of my boots so i replaced them and it still does it. Both plugs were oil fouled so i replaced them and the new ones even had oil on them. I was running 20:1 the whole time. Does anyone have any advice? Should i run a different gas mixture? I have t5's, vforce reeds, ported cylinders, dyna ignition, aftermarket carbs. I am running 93 octane. NEED HELP

I have the same problem. I have ported cylinders factory head t-5s aftermarket carbs, what mixture should i run. I am currently running 24:1

I jus rebuilt the whole engine and I run 21ozs to 4al of 93 octane

When I run out of yamalube I jus go to the store and buy havoline 2 stroke oil and i mix 21oz. to 4 gal of 93 octane. Is this ok. What is everyones advice

I have a back firing problem also, and my spark plugs have oil on them. The yamaha dealer told me to check and see if my silencers need to be repacked. Does anyone have any advice.

I have a banshee i would consider trading you but i live in missouri
