  1. We thought my friend Mary was bi-polar. But after she got her a new boyfriend her whole attituded changed. She was actually pleasant. Turns out she wasn't bi-polar, she was just horny. Who'd a thought.

  3. Is it harder to start when you first start it. Do you turn you gas off?(should). If so let, turn it on and let it sit for a minute before you start kicking. If it's been running and hard to start try opening the throttle all the way when you kick it.
  4. I should of done this from the begining, but anyway. THE GIRL: I'm Christy, some call me Traci , but call me what ever, live in Indiana and I love Banshees . I've been riding for a few years now. I started on a Honda 250x, then 300ex and then 400ex. I now have a Banshee . It was left to me by my boyfriend last year, he was killed in a car wreck. My first love, next to my son, also from my boyfriend, is the water. I love to swim, go boating and jet skiing. I live in the water. I wanted to be a Navy Seal, but I'm just too small and can't kill people. I'm a gear head tomboy at heart, Dad really wanted a boy . I do alot of my own work on my bikes sometimes with the help of my Dad. He's taught me alot, what can I say he really wanted a boy . I do race, but not atv's. I race mountain bikes. Not as much as I would like. It's hard to do being a single mother. But no complaints he's worth it. He really is wonderful. I know alot about motors, guns, jets skis, tropical fish, plants, electronics, cooking, moutain bikes, boats, personal training (these are some of my hobbies). I also love dancing, music, movies, traveling and eating out. I"m just like the rest of you. I'm trying to learn more about Banshees and also learning how to becoming a better rider, so I can enjoy this powersport more. THE MACHINE: 2002 Banshee, lowered, race cut front, Protaper drag bars, Douglas rims, Maxxis mx tires,18's on the rear, stock gearing, No TORS, Uni racing intake, K&N, 34mm(not sure of size) Mikunis, Vforce, White brothers boost bottle, cool head, 21cc domes(again not sure) PTR mx porting, Paul Turner mid pipes and FB's. MSD ingnition, 4 degrees advance. NKG fine wire plug,034 gap. Klots oil. That's it. So Hi everyone. and oh I really did get new boobs last summer .

  6. How do I tell what size my carbs are? (Fooled you didn't I?) I know they're Mikunis, and I think they're are bigger than 26mm. Do I measure inside diameter of the throat on the breather side?
  7. What if 06 wasn't the last year for the bike we all came to know and love? What if Yamaha kept this wonderful machine alive. What would you like to see in a future 2007 Banshee? My future Banshee would be bumped up to a 450cc with bigger pistons and a longer stroke with a good midrange port job. It would also be fuel injected with electic start. It be wider and lower with a front suspension more like the YFZ. It would come in pink or pink as one of the colors. I know this is as likily to happen as me giving up chocolate, but a girl can dream can't she? What about the rest of you? What would you like to see in the next Banshee, if there was one? Keep in mind this would be a stock production bike, so the 10mm strokers on alky, may not be likely. But come on I like to hear those dreams.

  9. I've learn alot from my dad. What can I say he wanted a boy . I've never rode a KDF 400 so I know very little about them . I started riding on 4 stroke Hondas and know some about them, but I know mostly about 2 strokes and mostly Banshee's at that. I know alot tech wise from my dad, but still have alot I want to learn when it comes to real world and real life ideas about atv's. I can build an a screamer on paper, but it might be a real turd in life. So I'm still learning, I just know enough to be dangerous right now.
  10. The KDX is made by Suzuki for Kawaski so it's the same bike. The Artic cat 400 is also the a Suzuki. But does anyone know if new 450 Quadracer is also going to have a Kawaski and/or Aritc cat version?

  12. Did you try connecting it to just the brown wire by itself? That is the ground. Don't try them together. I hope you didn't get shocked to bad.
  13. It's no secret to my friends I love extrme hill climbing. I'm getting pretty good too, but always could use good advice and pointers on the subject. So how about it how do you extreme hill'ers do it. I'm talking about handle bars hit your helmet going up extreme hills. I know about leaning over the bars,but I only weight 110 and that's with my new and improved boobs so that has is limits. Also what kind of mods and set up do you guys run for the big hills?
  14. I'm probably wrong but don't you want to connect it to the brown wire coming off the coil? Isn't the the negative terminal of the coil? I'm not sure how a tach would work on a banshee ingition though. because it fires twice per stroke, once on compression and once on decompression per cylinder, so I would think your rpm's would be twice as high as the true rpm's. If all else fails bring it to a shop and have them do it. It be ashame to have something that you couldn't use. Good luck, keep us posted. I may want a tach too someday.
  15. My Banshee pulls 9857rpm with Paul Turner mid pipes and FB's. The pipes,and I know some will not agree, is you rev limiter. It controls soundwaves coming out of your motor. This is done with the rate of expansion, the belly, the rate of deexpansion and the overall length, of the explansion chamber as well the silencers. If you know your gearing, tire size and your top speed I can tell your exact rpm's. If I was trying to find out when to set my shift point I would have it dyno and set it at the point my hp starts to drop. My guess would be 8500 to 9000 rpm, but this is just a guess. Hope this helps.

  17. This brings back memories. When I got my first 2 stroke jet ski (my first love) I asked the same question How do you ride it? I was told hard. Jet ski's like to be roded hard and I wasn't going to hurt it. After 3 years of some very hard riding, 3 Engines and 12,000 dollars later I decided that guy was full of crap. But, hey It was 12,000 well spent.
  18. Anyone from Indiana? Just wondering I don't see alot of Banshees out here in southern Indiana. I ride with a group of older guys most of which ride modded Predators. I love the way the Predators sounds, but wouldn't have one over my Banshee.I think it'd be awesome to ride with a group of Banshee's. Maybe then I wouldn't have to be the test scout for the really big hills all the time.
  19. Will a piped and jetted KFX with exhaust and intake Hotcams run with a stock Predator in drag racing, woods riding etc.. A friend of mine asked me and I have no ideal. Thanks guys.
  20. When I tried revving it real high it began to produce steam, after searching I noticed it was comming from the overflow tube. Is that normal? I still have the overflow bottle located in the rear. What is your compression? Maybe you need to run a higher octane, provided nothing is wrong with the bike and causeing it to over heat. A higher octane will help it to run cooler. Just a thought, Traci.
