Your kidding me. I live in Port St. John, but my quad is nowhere near I think ready for riding. It is pretty beat up. The guy that I bought it from wheelied too high and fell off the quad practically ghost riding it and it fell on it's side beaking the right a-arms. He said the motor was just built so break in is definetely required, but I can't ride until I get new arms. I am just gonna tear the whole thing down, blast it, powdercoat it, take the motor down to see exactly what was done, put new a-arms, swingarm, brakes, exhaust, jet carbs, intake and air filter. I definitely want to ride though. Know anyone with any knowledge of ATV's in this area?

I am new to the scene and this is my first ATV. I used to ride when I was younger so I have a little bit of experience with them, but as far as upgrades and the lingo on the subject I am clueless. I just bought a 96 Banshee and it needs a lot of work. The person that owned it before me put new Wiseco pistons/crankshaft basicall rebuilt the motor. The throttle seams a little choppy and the guy said to put bigger carbs and an exhaust system and it will run like a "raped ape". I want to upgrade the entire quad since I got it for so cheap and I plan to ride the crap out of it. There are a lot of trails with many jumps and the majority of this area is sandy dirt/grass. Should I just rejet the carbs or getter bigger bores? Is the Toomey full system exhaust any good? Saw a deal for a Toomey full system, jet kit and a K&N air filter for 600.00. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
