  2. Working on my brothers banshee because it seems to have lost its power band fun sone. here's what we have so far, looking to see if anyone else has had this issue? The left pipe is getting a lot hotter than right. Left cyclinder reads 121psi. Right side doesn't even get really too hot, when I punch the gas a small cloud of smoke comes out only on right side. Right side compression is 119. anyone have this issue? thanks

There are normal scratches as seen in pic that can be buffed out. This is in very good condition better than how it looks in the pic. Only used for maybe 2 month. Hardware is included! asking $120 or BO, all reasonable offers will be taken into consideration Thanks Peter Pics don't seem to want to down load so send me a text or email and Ill get them sent to you. In the meantime I will keep trying to get them to work
  7. I love the banshee on trails, when set up right they are a blast in my opinion.
  8. you could always carry a small tank if you have a six pack rack, that what i do on long trips. Not sure if someone already said that?
  9. Im glad its working but dont forget to get the air box and filter set up on those carbs before you start riding. I would also advice a plug check to see how she is running, good luck and have fun
  10. When your cleaning the carbs out as in video 2, examine the jets in each carb. Theres a little number you should write down and let us know what it is. Thats the jet size. There will be one on the main jet and one on the pilot.
  11. 2005, your making headway now, thats great! Next, lets dive into the carbs. Are you familiar with the banshee carbs? Are you running the TORS above the carbs on your bike or has it been removed? When you have down time lets get an airbox ordered with airfilter. Heres a couple videos to help you if you need it. 1st vid is to help get the carbs removed but the second one is what you want to watch for carb cleaning. Second vid is really good. Let us know when this is complete and PM me with any questions
  12. 2005shee, You should probably go through the bike from A to Z. If your concerned with the fuel mix you should remove all the fuel in the tank and carbs should be cleaned. This is very easy to do. Shut the fuel valve off located under the left side of the gas tank. Remove the rubber tube end attached to the carbs. Find a safe gas container. Remove the gas cap on the bike. Place the tube in the container and move the valve to the reserve tab and watch the gas tank flow. Once its completely empty grab a flash light and take a quick look inside the tank. Should look nice and clean. Let us know when this is completed.
  13. Let me know what you have and ill pass it along. thanks

  17. was this problem ever figured out?
  18. Did you ever find one? I know its been a while since you posted this. what are you looking to spend? Heres a nice bikes near you in case you have not found one, LINK
  19. looks good bro. welcome!
  20. I really want to get the precision but they dont make one for the Banshee. Next one would be the Scott, Puck style but it doesnt work with risers. Looks like im forced to get the stick style or Fastway but I cant find anyone that runs the Fastway so Im nervous about forking over 500 bucks. Heres a link LINK The guy selling it says it will work with banshee and with risers because the unit actually mount on your frame in between the a-arms then connect to the steering stem down there.
  21. i barley use it as well
