  1. I picked up a couple quads to fix up. I did one of them and still have this one sitting. It has been sitting for quite sometime even before I got it. Would be great to strip down and redo or tinker on for a cheap beater. Plastics are faded but solid, seat is ripped, tires are bald. Hasn't been driven in a long time, it did start up a few months back but didnt want to idle without choke and wasn't attempted to be driven. Compression was solid and even. Its a complete machine not missing parts. All stock. Looking for 1,000obo. 262-470-0381(text/call) Doug or email me at Dougy_fresh22@yahoo.com Located in Dousman, WI

Here it is other than it has different tires, that are bald.

I bought this quad new, and every thing done to it was done by me and bought brand new! Never used crap and never hacked. Never been raced. Trail ridden its whole life and that hasn't been too much time, and maybe 4 times at the "local" mx park. Keep in mind this is an '07 so all those damn oil "worries" are non esistent!

    Mods:

    Fox DSC front shocks

    JD Performance A-Arms

    Laegar Axle

    Steering stabalizer

    AC Nerfs

    HMF Full exhaust system

    etc

Included: I have a few misc items I will include as well. I have a bunch of plastics to include as well.

    Pics:

Recent Picure but I changed the plastics to a White, and Blue combo just for a change. Have a full set of white to go with it.

What I am looking for: A really nice banshee, or a nice banshee and cash, or 250r Must Have suspension work, no questions about it! My yfz has over 2k in just the a-arms and shocks, I won't consider a bouncy stock shocked quad.

  3. I know the economy is crap and not much is selling but I picked up a 1999 that needs some TLC. I paid to much and want to try and recoop some money. The banshee starts and runs, but ruff. It had been sitting a while. It is 100% complete plastics are very faded but not broken, seat cover is toast. Tires are bald, but again it is a complete "running" machine. All stock from what I can tell. Would wanting 1k out of it way too much? Hit up a few classifieds and ebay and I would think for less than maybe 200 bucks it would be set to go, and look a ton better.

  4. Up forsale is my 2001 Yamaha Banshee. Fresh top end, with great compression. Runs and drives A1. Was primarily used by my GF. Very fast and very fun! Quad is very very nice, I will include some extra oil an anything else I have related to it. Asking 2200 obo. You won't find a cleaner and nicer banshee for the money! 262-470-0381

  5. Holy balls man, 60:1? How does it run? Is Bel-Ray thinner than Yamalube? I ask because like myself, most riders I know up here run 32:1 Banshee or dirt bike. I know one guy that runs 40:1 to be safe & his runs pretty damn rich. I know some guys that run 20:1 if their racing but that comes with a rebuild after. I'm actually running Polaris mixing oil (little thicker/better for the colder summer months here) at 32:1 right now & mine runs like a dream.

I think you are mistaken as 60:1 is lean on oil it has 60 parts of gas to every 1 part of oil. I want to run 40:1 so that is a closer gas to oil mix.
