To answer your question about the shutdown, it has a large partical silica sand that really slows you down quick. Like I said we have had bikes running in the middle 3's and having plenty of slow down, also if you would like you could come up some time before the drags start and try the track. We are about 45 minutes north west of the airport it depends on the class 450 4- m,stroke usally 25 250r usally about 10 350 banshee usally about 8 to 10 maybe more we usally have about 50 bikes here total and hoping for more There is about 175 yds of shut down and it is worked up with silica sand last year we had some bikes running in the middle 3's and having no problem shutting down hope to see you here if you have anymore questions just ask Buzz

The races turned out alright for the weather conditions,The track hooked like crazy Friday and Saturday. Results from classes I believe were as follows 210 to 310cc 2 stroke -Derek Wenzel 1st, Brian Faught 2nd, kelly Phillips 3rd 310 and above 2 stroke - champ 23 1st, Jeff Wendorf 2nd and Tyler Ferris 3rd 400 4stroke Kyle Henning 1st, Feldcamp 2nd 450 class Williams from Whiting 1st, Derek Faught 2nd, Jones 3rd open class- Eric D 1st, Jeff Wendorf 2nd I not positive on these We plan on starting racing in April for next year, Thanks to everyone who helped get the track up and going and everyone who raced and the spectators Buzz Faught BFD Race'n

hey, Drag race'n fans It must be race weekend since it is raining, This time I haven't worked the track yet and if it don't rain hard we should be alright, and if it does snow bring your sleds. Keep checking here for updates, Thanks Buzz

Practice At 5:00 pm Friday the 18th

To answer the question about shutdown there is 365ft hope everybody can make it to the last race Don't forget about sign in time at 2:00pm. Also we will have practice starting at 5:00 till when everbody gets cold. If you have any questions feel free to post them and I will try to look at HQ every evening

Well Guys going to try one more time to have a drag race and practice, We will have practice Friday night at 5:00 in till when ever people get to cold cost 10.00 dollars. Then have races Saturday at 2:00 pm. Hopefully we will be done before Dark. Check in time is 1:00 pm if you are not here to bad. Hope everbody can make it. Also anybody else going to the dunes on November 4th thru 6th It sounds like there is going to be a number of people going from this area

What Chris told me was this is a new track up by the highway don't have alot of info on it yet. He was asking about my photoeyes,etc, Hopefully I can get him to log on and tell you guys about the track

Guys couldn't get on the net last night because of the clouds. But about the only thing we could race today is 4 wheel drive utility's. I will try and find a decent weekend to make this last race up after we get back from Waynoka and the weather will be decent. I plan on a Saturday afternoon about 2. Also just to mention that Chris Patch in Parker Ks is going to have a sand Drag next weekendI will get more info and post it here, We are trying to get a point system worked up for next year between the two tracks.

also just got back from town and heard some complaints about waiting around for people to get to the races, from now on checkin time is what is posted. Like Sunday time is two in the afternoon if you are not here at two youi will not be able to enter. If you know you are going to be late call me to enter. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS that way we can be started racing by 3:00. To all who was upset sorry for the delay last time.

Boys just ran the utility down the track, there is noway for practice tonight, I am thinking of having the races on Sunday afternoon about 2:00 pm. I will keep checking the track and may have practice tommorow night or tommorow afternoon if at all possible. We are just running out of days. well everbody rained again the track doesn't look to bad but wet if we get some sunshine I will make a decision tommorow about practice and the drags I can telll you guys that the track will pack hard after a few runs no matter what so bring two different types of tires. I am going to try and have the race if at all possible because of weather getting colder and we are planning a trip to the dunes in two weeks. CHECK HERE TOMMOROW!!!!!! Yes we will have one more practice and race in two weeks it will be the 21st and 22nd at night

we wil water the track if we need to, the cool air is not taking the moisture out Rick C & Matt from Meriden had their bikes here last night and said the track is hooking perfect

Well Guy's I'm back from MO The track looks good for Sunday we will give everyone two practice runs starting at 2:00 pm that is per bike. Then we will start the races after that. Guys bad news we took the 4x4 down the track and sank , it is soup under the sand. We will reschedule for OCT 9 it is a sunday afternoon, we will practice at 2:00 pm, each machine will get two passes. Hopefully we can get started with the race by 4:00 and be done racing by 8:00 if anybody has another idea let me know and we will decide. But as of now this is where we stand. I am leaving town tommorow for two weeks but feel free to call me on the cell or call the house phone and talk to my wife or boys they can get a message to me. Sorry about this.
