We are planning on having the Poker Run next weekend 27th of Oct. We will be leaving from the track at 1:00pm registration starts at noon. We are going to ride about 48 miles and play in the timber most of the ride is on county roads come and visit. The rain bypassed us last night and we will have races today starting with T&T at 1:00 pm and races starting at 6:00pm

I am thinking about 30% will buy back in and make the pot bigger for the winner and that will ease the pain of taking so long to run the race

Shannon trying to speed up the process starting to get more bikes and I sure don't want another last week 3:30 in the morning is just to much for an old man like me and my help. There is a buy back one time in the money classes. It will cost 10.00 dollars to buy back in the first three rounds. When we get down to the first ,second, and third place there will not be any buy back. and you can only buy back one time per race.

Drew Sorry it took so long to get back with everybody. Are races are held every two weeks weather permitting. We will have a race on the 10th and 11th of August and every two weeks after that up until it is to cold. The races are bracket racing and single Elimination. we have 4.49 and faster and a 4.50 and slower. Throphy and money classes cost is 10 for throphy and 20 for money classes. We are having T&T on Friday at 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm and then again on Saturday from 1:00 till 4:00. and racing starts at 6:00pm. 5.00 gate fee friday and 6.00 Saturdy. any other questions call 913-426-2853 Buzz

This is Buzz from BFD Race'n. I just found this post and was reading it and there is one thing that concerned me . When you was asking about what way to start off by the tree's or the bleachers and the person was concerned about the tree at 60'. I would start between the bleachers because of the crowd a bike would have a better chance going around the tree at 200' than the bleachers at three hundred feet, and if there is an acccident the rider is less likley to sue than a spectator. It could get very bad in a hurry if a bike got into the crowd. just my thoughts. Also any chance you are going to have more races I can bring down some of my crew for the Atchison and KC area but we have a race on the 28th wish it was on a Sunday afternoon. The classes are the toughest thing to get, becuase most generally there is only two or three in the class when you are starting up. If there is anyway possible to bracket race that is the way to go it seems. I know everybody likes headsup I do, but there is no payback and it is very tough to get everybody a race because of the number of bikes there.

Update on track conditions got tractor stuck in shutdown area at 4:00 pm not looking good.I will post tommorow at 12:00 pm about racing at 6:00pm

This is the scoop on this weekends racing had 3.5 inches of rain so no T&T on Friday night will have it on Saturday morning at 11:00 am until 4:00 pm and then start racing after that Thanks Buzz

It has rained to much for the shutdown area and parking to have races this weekend. If the sun comes out and shines we will have a practice on Sunday. The test and tune and make up races will be next weekend.

Sorry guys to much rain won't be able to race this coming weekend. I want to thank everybody who helped with the track upgrades. It will make for a good year and hope to see everybody on May 4th for the first bracket race. I am going to try and have a practice on the 27th of April weather permitting

Just to let everybody know we have enlarged the track to 28 ft per lane and the new timers are in hope to see everybody on April 13th and 14th

Here are the race dates for this year Headsup Racing April 14th May 19 th June 16 th July 14th August 11th September 8th October 6 th November 3rd ( weather permitting) Bracket Racing May 5th June 2nd June 30th July 28th August 25th September 22nd October 20th Test and tune will be Friday night at 6:00 pm the night before the races time trials will start at 3:00 pm the day of the race,. On Friday night it will cost 5.00 to get in the gate and 5.00 to practice The classes for the headsup races will be 2 and four stroke together and classes will be decided on time for example 3.5 to 4.0 bikes will be in a class and the next class will be 4.1 to 4.5 and so on. let me know if that is to wide of a gap in time, I am thinking about going to .3 second classes The track is going to be widened and timers will be here also hoping to get more shutdown

Hello everbody, I plan on having a ATV poker run on Nov 11th starting at 2:00 pm the ride will leavre from the drag strip and we will ride for about 50 miles with a small amout of timber. Then we will meet back at the strip to have supper and bonfire. We will have ATV games and see who wins the money. The games consist of ATV pull with a sled and cocrete blocks, Barrel race, wheelie contest, and winnie bite which takes two to enter. Hope everbody cqn make it out for some fun and food.
