if u are Draggin, get urself an override trans or a pvl ignition and ull see big difference on ur bike for under 500, or if u want something cheaper get urself some bigger carbs, and ya like someone stated on top lighten ur bike by taking unessary parts, maybe even light ur frame up. KASRacing

I always race in Sand and second is better, from a stock one to a fully modded shee second always works good, if u start at 1st gear u will have to shift more than if u start at 2nd, and i think the bikes rev more when started at 2nd, juss my 2 cents KASRacing

Ok lots of questions, i dynoed the motor here in a shop near me and i realy dont know what kind of dyno it is i was juss swintching the stuff and he did all the work, the dyno sheets are over there with my friend, i will try to go and pick them up soon, and yes i did these with some 7mm cubs, but as Big Blue says the 10mm castings will be available pretty soon, i think during this month and i know theyll be better than customizing the 7mm castings, and all of the pipes were BIg Bore, Thanks KASRacing

I think Big Bores work real good on small motors as well, juss depends on how ur motor is designed, ive seen alot of small motors to like Big Bores more than Small Bores. KASRacing
-
thanks for the compliments, all of them were out a frames, but i have some inframes ill try to test some of those but from what i know, the out a frames give u no more than 5 hp over the inframes, so i think u could get to the 120's with inframes. i got some 4mm cubs ordered, so i can see what horses i get out of them, those will go on my dune bike so ill probably test them with only inframes, so give me at least 2 weeks and i should have all the testing done if they get here within this week. Hey I'm juss finished with the testing on my 10 mm Cubs, after lots of testing and work on them, and testing different carbs, and pipes, i got to the point i wanted to get ahold of, yesterday i tested the 38 mm mikunis, and packards, and the 39 mm mikunis, and packards, from the testing i did on these 4 pairs of carbs the 39mm keihins where the best i tested and the packards were really close too, but the 39 mm keihins where better, and by far the 39 mm's work better than the 38 mm's on the Cubs, so if u plan on building a 10mm cub, the 39mm's are a must. Now to the Pipe test, i tested the Shearer, CPI, GRR, RDZ, and Trinity, and the RDZ's had 1 more horse over the GRR, and 3 over the Shearer, and i was really disappointed with the CPI's since i got 6 horses less than the RDZ's, and the trinity's their juss not worth it, i think Trinity needs to get to work and build a new design, but i decided to stay with the shearers, since they last more long in the top end, as, the GRR and RDZ lose their power at the top faster. Now after i had the best combination on the bike after 3 days of testing all the different parts, it dynoed juss under 122, so i was very impressed with it, and i liked the Cubs a lot now I juss need to get this thing to the hill. So my final statement about the Cubs. they are worth the money!!! So get to ur nearest ATV shop and get u a pair!!! Thanks, Joe

Me peronaly like the sound of the Shearer pipes, they sound mean both inframes and the out a frames, they are awsome. KASRacing

If u are going to dune alot go with a 4mm/ 68mm bore it will be great to drag with it too, but if u deciding to go bigger with a 7mm go all the way and get a 10mm, it will be worth it and the price will be the same, im sure of that, so think bout it, to go with a 7mm or 10mm, ur best bet, it will be around 1 grand more but u will se over 20 horses for sure, if u need any help on anything please let me know. T5s will be great, but if he is going to be modifying his bike later on ill suggest to go with some shearer, if u decide let me know i got some t5s in my garage and got 2 sets of brand new shearers pm me and we can work something out, and give u a bad ass deal. KASRacing

Go wth a PVL thats what i use and they work good and ull see the difference in power more than what u noticed the difference on ur 3000gt KASRacing
-
PVL's are awsome i run them on all my bikes from a dune port banshee to a full blown 14mm drag bike, they work good and will work better than a stocker, but its different for lots of people some people dont like the PVL's, but my opinion its they are good, and let me tell u this if u into draggin and hillshooting i would recomend u one, and let me tell u this u will feel the difference If u decide to run one please pm me maybe i can get u one for cheap KASRacing

Shearer's vs. CPI's vs. T-5's.
KASRacing replied to stuntmasta3o5's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Ive Tested alot of pipes and for me probably the best for stock motors will be the t5's they will make ur bike run good and sound good, but then u want more power and u give it a port job and put in there some 34mm carbs, then i think ill go with some cpis, and then u go with a full drag ported 4mm on alky but u dont want to go to out a frames i will put some shearer on that thing, and continue to use shearer and maybe cpi's for the big motors but for a stock banshee i think the t5's are made for that and do will work up to a 4mm dune bike on gas, just my opinion but it all depends on what u got on ur motor and what u want to do with ur motor, my suggestion is if u are getting the best try to get the best ur builder tells u. Rim Size Does It Matter??? Umm well i think it does a little, ive tried all kinds of sizes, and i think all of them will work better than others, or else why will there be diferrent sizes??? from the drag bikes i have now, i use 8 inch mostly, and only use 9 inch on my 14mm cheetah, but on the others im using 8 inch right now, and ive found to be better for drag racing only!!!!! now on my duner ive tried both and i love my 10 inch wheels on my duner better, it handles bettter and they also look better, adn they pull hard as a 8 inch would, but now if u strictly drag i must recomend some 8 inch, but if u drag and dune i will recomend u some 8 inch, but for my opinion all sizes will work better at something than others, hope this help u. Thanks
