I think that the ohm readings on an aftermarket stator are different than stock. I found out after checking EVERTHING 3 times. Turned out the stator was fried even though the readings were ok for STOCK, but out of range for the electrex one i have from white bros!

I have the Ricki Stator 200 watt w/adjustable timing plate. I don't know where to line up the degree mark on the plate with the case.

I know this doesn't answer your question... I have a stator from White Bros also. It does put out a TOTAL of 265 watts, but only 165 without adding another voltage reg. I didn't find out until I got it!
