  1. i stay in South-Africa and gave Jim from Passion a call he sorted me with some nice mx porting and did all the packing sending ect had my jugs in just under a month and in Africa time thats un heard off !! Therefore my vote in this pissing match goes to passion ! even if its just because of the exelent servive i got from them !

  3. thanx for the help guys u know this is one of those questions u kinda know the answer to but still hope that u wrong , and there is nothing else that i can do to get the consuption down ? the problem being that fuelstops are on average about 120 kilometres apart !! and as u might guess the more u stop the slower u are !
  4. hi just did a single carb convertion on my shee , but being in south africa had trouble finding manifolds ect, had a manifold cast and running a single 35pwk with 65 pilots and 165 mains (pilot still to big ordered 60) running on 98 octane at 1750 metres above sea level. but the fuel consumption is awfull getting about 6 kilometers per litre ! is this normal never had such bad consumption running the two 35s ! i use the bike for enduro racing and even with a long range tank , i cant get to the refueling points !!!
  5. Hi all sorry if im askin a question that may have been answered already i have a ported 350 with pro-cuircit pipes, timing advanced and all the usual mods. I stay in south africa and had my own single carb manifold cast, im running 1 35pwk carb and whas wondering if anyone can give me a starting point on mains,pilots and needle positions ? curently i have a 60 pilot and 165 main with the clip in the centre. Running 19cc domes with 98 octane fuel at 1755 metres above sea level, the bike is used for enduro racing. Thanx 4 all the help
  6. i did the 450 calliper mod on my shee but found that i had to change the brake lever/resevoir too because the banshee resevoir didnt hold enouge fluid. anyone have this prob ? or could it just have been that the fluid got to hot ? i race enduro and live in south africa.
  7. This might be a dumb question but i have phoned around and im not getting any joy, the EEK and ECK needles that i need is that the make of needle or just a model ? If its the model who are the manufactures these needles ? And is there a specific needle to get ? Thanks for all the help so far ! jacques
  8. The internals in the engine is stock (no porting) im at about 5500 metres above sea level and running on 94 octane pump gas. I am currently running a 145 main and 55 pilot on the twin 35pwk s with the standard needles. Does the same apply ? whats the problem with the standard needles ? thanx jacques

Hi I am currently doing a single carb convertion on my 2005 i have a set of 35pwk with the manifold but i would like to change to the single for a number of reasons, i have heard that u hafta change the needles on these carbs when changing to the single. I stay in South-Africa so there are not allot of guys that have even heard of a single carb on a banshee.-hence my problem- I am having a manifold cast for this and will make the neccesary mods to airbox ect, but im worried that not having the right needle is gonna make this convertion a bigger problem that it currently is ! is there anyone that can help , remember im in Africa so it will have to be a needle that i can pick up from either keihin or a local dealer. (sorry about some of the spelling) thanks jacques

    looking for a set of decent ported 350 jugs, these will go on a enduro bike so no drag porting ect,seller must be able to fedex to South-Africa i will of course pay for that. thanx
  11. are u positive u have the right shocks ? check the lenth may be raptor shocks ! had a problem with a stripped bike i bought they look identical to banshee same mounting points ect but the are to long ! they were also a set of works shocks hope it helps

Hi guys i own and have owned banshees my whole life and thrown away loads o cash on them ! i have just bought a new 2005 and plan racing it this year ( and as long as i can stay up) I live in South Africa and even though its a great place to ride its not so kind on us 2stroke fans ! my bike has a set of 35mm striker carbs,pyramid reeds,pro-desighn intake and filter im also running 4 deg advanced timing coolhead 19cc domes and pro-circuit pipes,flywheel also lighned and ballanced.The barrels are still stock - i dont want these monkeys over here stuffing up my ports and transfers !! How and where (remember im in africa) can i get a good porting job done and even better are there no 2nd hand 350 ported barrels available ?? I know im askin alot ! please any help to cath those dammed 4 strokes !!! Jacques Midrand South-africa
