  1. i forgot to mention i had noss coolheads with 21cc domes... so you guys all agree if i have t-5's and mayby a taller tire i could beat this guy. cause hes willing to race pink slips or cash which would be nice to have. so if i race him i wanna make sure i have the advantage over him. he is pretty experience at riding and jumping but not drag racing. Im not either
  2. My friend has a Honda 400ex: lonestar frame withlonestar swingarm and +2 a-arms,axis shocks,k&n intkae and jets, wiesco piston, lrd 465 big bore kit, stage 1 hot cam,450r timing chain, pro circuit full exhaust, holeshot tires, dura blue +4 axle, renthal bars, lowering kit,msd ingition, alumin airbox, and oil cooler My banshee is a 1998 with 18 inch tall tires on 10 inch wide rims, 21's in the front,.50 over, lone star extended axle, airbox removed, dyno 2-1 exhaust, vito pistons, mild portjob, crank welded and trued, adjustable timing plate, boost bottle, reed spacers, and thats about it i think. we are both about 180 pounds almost 6 foot tall we were thinkin about racing 330 feet on pavement. I would like an honest opinion cause if i race for money i dont really want to lose. thanks in advance
  3. I need stock Banshee cylinders in pretty good condition. Id rather them non bored or ported.
  4. who would you reccomend then
  5. I own a 1998 Banshee wiht the airbox removed, Toomey t-5 exhaust, lonestar extended axle, Noss Coolheads wiht 21cc domes and thats about itl. In the future im lookin at some bolt on's and mayb 35mm carbs. I was wondering which porting would be the best for me. I ride on wide open trails like train tracks but also do some woods so i ride everything basically besides dunes. Here are the different port jobs trinity has to offer: TRINITY RACING TWO-STROKE PORTING STYLES Stage II Porting: A mild, all-around port job. You will see gains across your entire powerband with this porting. This porting is excellent for riders over 200 lbs. Suitable for: All-around recreational riding and for riders over 200 lbs. Stage III Porting: A little more extreme than the Stage II porting, giving you more top-end power. Suitable for: Aggressive dune riding, fast trail riding, and fireroads. Stage IV Porting: The extreme, drag-race only port job by Trinity Racing. This style of porting will give you the huge top-end gains necessary for drag racing. Suitable for: Drag racing. Pro MX Porting: This porting style is designed for motocross riders and people who spend most of their riding time in the bottom and mid-range. This is also recommended for riders over 200 lbs. Suitable for: Motocross racing, tight woods/trail riding, and riders over 200 lbs. Pro TT Porting: Similar to our Pro MX port job with more of a focus on the top-end power that is necessary for TT racing. With this port job, you will still maintain good bottom-end power while seeing significant gains at the top-end of your powerband. Suitable for: TT racing, fast trail riding, fireroads, and oval track racing.
  6. I ride on the side of train tracks, grass, soft and hard packed dirt. Trails once in a while but mostly wide open. FMF Fatties, FMF SST, or Toomey t-5. Right now my bike is basically stock but looking to put on some bolt ons and porting. thanks
  7. Hey i have a 1998 banshee wiht no airbox. I have a dyno 2 into 1 right now and im looking to change it. My three choices are the Stage IV Exhaust System, FMF Fatties wiht Powercore Silencers, and Toomey t-5's. In the future im looking at getting porting, a timing plate, possibly 35mm carbs, and i just ordered Noss Coolheads they are in the mail . I do a lot of wide open riding on the train tracks and my 12 acre farm but i also take it through some trails that branch off from this old abandoned quarry the traintracks go by. I'm going to be running pump gas forever and im not going to be dragracing. i was thining about buying my exhaust from http://www.worldwideperformance1.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc are they a reliable seller? How well does polished stainless hold up compared to mayb chrome
  8. I ride on my small farm which consists of just grass and dirt and the railroad tracks which are flat wiht large stones and goes for miles and connects into an old quarry. I dont live near any dunes so that is pretty much out. So mostly trail riding. I wanna run normal pump gas which premium be any better to run or just the regular stuff? I was thinkining possibly toomey t-5's. Would FMF Fatties be better for my type of riding. I live in North New JErsey im pretty sure the altitude is around 300-400 feet not positive on that though. Thanks for your help
  9. I recently purchased a 1998 Banshee. The airbox is removed wiht K&N filters and a dyno 2in1 exhuast. It has a lonestar axle and new tires and thats about it. Im pretty new to 2 strokes and Banshees but have some experience wiht 4 stroke bikes and quads which i never did much performance work on. I wanted to speed up my banshee. What would you guys reccomend first? I was thinkin about changin the pipes a mayb some Noss Coolheads? What size domes would u reccomend?
