Just wondering. I hear no one talk of trinity pipes, but i was wondering if anyone knows how they compare to T-5's. Motor will remain stock internal wise for now, but it will have bolt ons.

So there is no ignition benefit from running a high wattage stator???

Yeah, i believe it is 3.50 for 110 and 3.00 for 100 Sunoco. Pretty good deal. What do you guys think about domes with the stock crank. You think i coudl get away with 19 or 20cc's at sea level with the bumped up timing???

I have access to 100 low lead and 110 leaded Sonoco fuel at the pumpl for about 3 bucks and change a gallon so it does not matter if i run pump or race gas. If i can go to 20ccs with the stock crank and advanced timing i will do it.

what domes do you have?

stock bike now. Want to put T-5's, cool head, v-force 3 reeds, open air box with intake, and bump up the timing. My question is should i bump up the timing with an aftermarket CDI (if so which one) or get the timing plate?? Also, what is the highest compression that should be put on the stock internals (ie. which domes)??? I am at sea level. If you guys have any other suggestions for mods, please feel free to suggest.

Me and a couple of friends will be going these days to ride. Most likely there will be 5-10 people in our group alone. We will be leaving from Ft. Lauderdale area most likely early Saturday morning around 4-5am. Then we will ride all day Saturday and sunday. Let me know who is going. jeff

I went in feburary with about 10 guys, probably 15 next time we go. We are planning on a 2 day croom trip in may. Then maybe ocala in the summer unless it is too miserable or Little Sahara in Oklahoma.

Why very high output??? Is it bad to run in a less modified motor or are you refering to price? Jeff

I know a guy who owns a dyno and will let me use it for cheap. I will post the results when i get my rockets, and other mods on stock port.

Everyone says rockets are a top end pipe, but there are people on this forum that claim more bottom end than when they had T-5's on the same combo. From what they told me, all they have are cool heads with bumped up compression, timing advance, and v force reeds with some sort of air intake mod. This is supposedly with stock port and jugs. I hope they are right, because i am ordering mine and keeping the bike with a stock port....for now :-) jeff
