  1. if your not in a builder's backpocket, i think it is going to be hard to keep up, HONESTLY.
  2. HAHA, and they are just getting started. wait till the actual racing starts. you know there are some sandbagging.
  3. got a buddy out of florida making them, but not sure what material he is using. whatever he is using it is holding up with some 10 mill cheetah's and cubs.
  4. I think the test and tune was really really good. races went very smooth today. great racing by everyone. yeah track was choppy today, just needed more water on it, but we will get that figured out. that little 4 mill is crazy about 100 ft. out with a choppy track. actually have videos of unloading the tires at the 250 ft. mark to the traps. @$$ crack racing big daddy bike really didn't get a clean pass on it during racing. bike was just blowing the tires off in the dry dirt and go all over the track. i don't think i actually had a 300 ft, run on that bike, they were more like 310 ft. because it was side to side. did roll it off the trailer and run a 3.97 and a 3.99 so the track was really good first thing this morning, but once the sun hit it, it was gone. great job by all the track crew, kept things running smooth. i think that 6.0 index class will be growing next race. we did take the baby 4 mill and the big daddy bike to the finals in the outlaw class, so they were running.
  5. don't hate on the jockeys, they have their place..... we got a heavy hitter's class going in south florida (outlaw class, rider must weight 200 lbs) for the actual owner's and builder's of the bikes. Jockies do have their place, though, so we are not all bad.
  6. I am ready to lay down some 3.8's.....if we dont' do that this weekend, I will be very dissappointed....the motor has it, we just have to get some test & tune on the chassis to get it there and get the lead out of my @$$ and ride it. That was only the 2nd time out on the bike, still getting used to all that power. Hopefully that 4 mill will go into the 3's this weekend too. Like the 16 mill, it has the potential, just have to find it.
  7. 3.96 84 mph 300'. should go 3.8's this weekend at C&R.
  8. every dog has his day....you never know when it is your turn to win.....
  9. I got off topic after a very good valid point was made. Call a builder and do what they recommend. aww it was good entertainment anyways.
  10. they do it like the hazelhurst boys do it....VIP practice...
  11. you ain't never lied.....jeff will be checking the lights to make sure they still working probably.
  12. i sure can't wait to smoke it then. let me tell you if you have something running 3.5's then we are gonna run 3.4's. should we bring the slicks too?
  13. what they going to say when that nate mccoy motor hits some 3's this weekend?
  14. you let me know when you want some.....you know any given day you can run better #'s. the thing is can you run the #'s consistent every month. we have run consistent #'s every month. they aren't great, but they will get better. hey, i am ready when you are. when you get that 3.56 time slip running bike, bring it to the track. you forgot one thing. having a bike that can run 3.56 is one thing, rididng a bike and making it go 3.56 is another. heck, the only thing I have heard from you boys down there is excuses on why you can't beat that orange bike. until that orange bike is beat, i don't wanna hear about who is bringing this, and who has that. the crap i have been hearing for 3 months about, i was pulling on you till front end came up, i was pulling on you till foot peg broke, etc. i own that track right now, and that is the bottom line. until someone dethrones me, i can say what i want.
  15. @$$ crack racing ready to do the d a m n thing.......
  16. I have been a contributor before. that is what keeps the economy going. sure hope I don't contribute anything this coming weekend.
  17. who coming to get some? bout time some of them dirty south boys rolled in and donated some money.
  18. I am just ready to get some of whatever it is your brining. you sold that 18 mill cause you was scared it was gonna get smoked by that 4 mill. by the time you get something up and running, i am going to be drinking a cold beer rocking on my front porch. buck up and let's race and quit talking. boy you can tell it is race weekend. smokedog is on fire.
  19. any bikes i have rode have stock ignition. agreed, spend the money elsewhere. i am just a jockey though. but will be at battle of the builders riding a few bikes with stock ignitions.
  20. i have a j-arm frame in central florida, not powdercoated. pm if your interested.
  21. not bad at all. usually those 350 mod bikes run 4.20s in GA. everyone is still trying to figure out gearing and chassis set up at c&r motorsports. the orange bike of troys should go 3.8s and dons bike should go 3.9s no problem. both of them have made adjustments and we are hoping for good results. the purple bike from GA that tony rides goes 3.8s at the GA tracks, and that bike is a hoss. it runs good.
  22. 551 and up class, I was running 4.03, 4.05, 4.13 550 and under class, I was running 4.18, 4.19, 4.25 350 Mod class was probably running 4.5's In my opinion, 350 mod class is more competitive than the pro stock banshe class.
  23. you saying jack and mack from the railroad track don't know how to build chassis.
  24. that would work out for stock framed bikes, but the drag frames do not have the capabilites to hang the normal number plates. most drag frames should have the staging disk with their # on it. that should be a requirement.
