  1. Thanks for the responses. I Figered TCS would get the nod. I will give this guy Shane a call. The phone number looks like Indiana which is where I am. Sometimes these little guys can do great work for better prices i.e. Quicksand and MP Racing. If he rubs me wrong I will go TCS.
  2. This winter I want to get my shocks revalved. I have Works triples with res in the front that are about 4 years old and the stock rear (1998). I ride ALOT of cross country and hare scramble type stuff and every once in a while I hit a Motocross track. I don' t have any real problems with my suspension but I Know it needs updating I just lost some weight and I am now running a Quicksand -1 swing arm. I would say I am a hard core recreational rider and I pretty smooth. What I would like input on is WHO do you guys like AND should i just freshen up my stuff and valve it for my new circumstances or have it converted to ZPS style or what. Any opinion will be appreciated.
  3. Does anyone have spec for how to check a Banshee ignition system. I have a meter I just do not have an idea where to start>
  4. I have had the same type of problem. Since jetting has no effect, try closing up the gaps on the spark plugs. set them at .017 instead of the stock .028. If the smaller gap clears it up you will know it is ignition.(weak spark).
  5. I have owen Boysen rad Valves and I would say they are not worth the money. I currently run Ported stock cages with TDR reeds and this settup feels better to me than the Boysens did. V-force is supposed to be the hot ticket, I will try those when these are done.
  6. I had a little more port work done and that seemed to shine a light on a problem with a weak spark. The problem was on top. Kind of a sputter or bog. I closed up the gaps to .018 and its runs great. My builder told me essentially that because of the mods the spark is being blown out because it is not strong enough. I Also was told that its not uncommon. That even a brand new banshee ignition (CDI) could have the same effect. Has anyone had a similar experience and does any one have any info on other ignition options that worked out good for them?
