  1. im planning on getting it ported within the next few months and i thought that i 4 over would be just about perfect. would i notice a big loss in performance if i got a +4 now. i only dune and hillclimb if that helps
  2. or do you think that my supporting mods are enough for now with a +4
  3. someone just offered me a stock swing arm that is extended 4 inches. it is chrome and he said i could have it for $100. i was just wondering if i should wait till i get my bike ported before i extend the swinger.
  4. ok, thank you, i will try that and see how it runs
  5. and dont forget the piston return springs or the blinker fluid
  6. sorry about that, i guess i should rephrase my question. someone told me that you have to let it warm up until you can feel warm exhaust coming out of the pipes, so i do that and then when i start riding it, it is loaded up pretty bad, i was wondering if this is normal or if i should change my jets or adjust my airscrews.
  7. since i changed the exhaust on my banshee to T5's it loads up pretty bad when it is cold, after riding for maybe 20-30 seconds you can get it into the powerband without it loading up, but any sooner than that and it feels like you hit the kill switch. im guessing that this is a pilot jet, but i dont know if i could fix it with the air screws. i have toomey t5's, pod filters, .020 pistons, 19cc domes, and boyeson power reeds, 290 main jets, 27.5 pilots, and i am in salt lake city (5500 feet) any help is greatly apreciated
  8. Call Kim at K&T Performance (801-825-5870) tell him what you want the engine to do and he will set you up right.
  9. it wont be hard. just take your time. i just put a K & T Performance head on mine last night. it make the banshee look a lot better.
  10. Just get a SHEE!!! you will love the feeling of hitting the powerband, it will rip your arms off!!!

    what gear

in the sand i put it in 2nd or 3rd rev it up and drop the clutch works pretty good for a kid that weighs 125.
  12. I called Shearer and he said no problem he has built a few inframe pipes with stingers. he was a really nice guy to talk to and his pipes are awsome!!
  13. could any pipe companies help me out here?
  14. K&T Performance has one with flames. looks awsome.
  15. Klotz R-50 smells damn good in my book
  16. i have always used Klotz R-50 and i have never had a problem (It Smells Good Too )
  17. i have thought about making my own stingers for my t-5s but i dont want to risk loosing any power. i want the drag pipe sound and performance. could anyone (shearer, CPI, etc.) custom make some inframe pipes that wont loose any performance by having stingers
  18. i am going to get some inframes now but i also have another question. here it is http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48117
  19. I like the sound of the out of frame drag pipes without silencers, but i dont want the out of frame pipe. why doesnt anyone make an inframe pipe with stingers? could one of the good pipe companies custom make them?
  20. i never thought about the mounts not being strong enough or what would happen if i crashed. thank you all for your input. how much should i plan on spending on some in frame drag pipes?
  21. this winter i am planning on getting a dune/drag port from k&t performance(they are AWSOME!!) and i was thinking of getting rid of my t-5's and getting some out of frame drag pipes, i still want to ride the dunes. would i still have the power on the dunes or would i have to feather the clutch constantly just to stay in the powerband.
  22. when my paddles werent lined up i couldnt tell a differance UNTIL i started hill climbing. when i was trying to go straight the back end would slide everywhere and it made it a little harder to drive. now that they are lined up it pulls straight every time, plus it looks better.
  23. also if i am running my silencers without packing would that be worse than straight piping them?
  24. i would get a drag pipe but i still need the option of spark arrestors, and if i straight piped my shee i wouldnt burn up the packing so fast. but when i put my sparkys on i could easily slip the old core with the packing back in.
  25. i mostly hillclimb at big sand where alot of guys are running drag pipes anyway. so i dont think that i would be causing any trouble.
